POV: Percy

🎶You're on the phone with your girlfriend, she's upset.🎶

My ex-girlfriend cheated on me with one of my best friends.

I changed the station.

🎶I never thought we'd have a last kiss
Never imagined we'd end like this
Your name, forever the name on my lips.🎶

I changed the station again.

🎶You betrayed me!🎶

I changed it again.

🎶I've been cheated by you since I don't know when.🎶

And again

🎶My first love broke my heart for the first time.🎶

I groaned and turned the radio off.

I've been driving for a while now and have already gone through every emotion possible. The first 20 minutes I cried. Next I screamed. Then I laughed. You get the idea.

I arrived at the rehabilitation center and went to the reception. A lot of the people there know who I am which is nice.

I went to Hades' room and knocked. "Percy, my boy!" He exclaimed "What are you doing here?" A tear fell from my eye and he ushered me into the room.

I told him the story. Everything with Calypso and Leo. Everything with Annabeth and Luke. Hades was really my only father figure. Other than maybe Chiron. I don't really talk to Zeus much. Once I finished he looked about ready to murder someone. "I never did like that Leo guy," I chuckled. "He's just an even more annoying version of you. And a dick. You're not a dick." I sighed.

Did I mention that he also knows about Gabe? No? Huh. Well be does. He told me that once he leaves this place he's going to beat the shit out of Gabe, become my legal guardian, and he'll pay for my mom's medical care. He knows about my mom too.

I hugged a pillow really tight to my chest. I bet my dad wasn't as pathetic as I was. Did he ever feel like this?" Hades gave me a sad look and looked about ready to tear up himself. "Well kid, your mom and dad were middle school sweethearts. They fell in love then and stayed that way. They knew each other their whole life. When they fell in love that was it for your dad. The only time he ever felt true heartbreak was when he had to leave her. And you, but don't worry he was plenty pathetic" I chuckled. I laid down on the couch with my feet up in the air.

"So, how are you?" I asked desperate to change the subject. "Believe it or not, I'm good." I smiled. I was glad. We talked for a while longer and he told me that he was coming home. He said that he was going to do better and that he wanted to be there for Nico. Maybe at some point in my life that would have made me jealous, but Nico deserves a good dad. I'm just hoping that Hades can be one. I'm just hoping that he doesn't fuck it up.

I stayed for dinner and drove home. Grover said that I could stay with him for a while. As much as I didn't want to go to school to see Leo and all of my friends I would rather do that than face Gabe. I parked Gabe's car outside of the apartment and shoved the keys through the mail slot.

~Monday~

Grover wanted to go to school early, but I would rather die, so I just walked. I took my time and arrived around second period. I didn't have second period with anyone but Grover. And I had first period with Annabeth, so it was totally worth the tardy and the detention.

In-between periods I walked through the halls with my black hoodie on and black sunglasses. Super emo. I ignored everything and everyone. It didn't matter if it was a teacher or a hot girl. The only person I spoke to was Grover and Thalia still wasn't back from her trip, but she has called me a lot.
