I fought an endless battle
Gave it my all; everyday anew
Always another struggle
My mind already lost a long time ago
Dancing on the edge of insanity
Flirting with death; playing with life
Gave away my soul and dignity
Sold them to the Devil himself
Living inside a dream of distress
Magic or wonders never reached me
Drowning in a world of carelessness
The blades of discouragement finally got to me
And now, while the ravens picked out my eyes
My heart beats for the last time
No time to say my goodbye
My weary mind is finally at rest
