The way I fell in love with your messy hair that clings to your skin when you just woke up.
Or the way your dark eyes twinkle like the night sky in summer.
Or how your laugh sends a tingle all throughout my body and gives me a certain high.
I'm sorry for a lot of things
Like
I didn't see how your hair became thin and dull.
Or how your eyes became sunken with sadness.
Or how I didn't seem to realize that the absense of your laugh.
I'm especially sorry your last minutes were on a cold hard floor instead of in my arms.
