I ruined Annie'a night, and in return, mine was also ruined. She returned to the hotel just right after I did, I wished she had just understood the fact that I needed some time alone.

I was in the room thinking about her. Her hurt eyes and her tears, they were heartbreaking. It made me wonder what to do about the current situation but Annie would not let me think as she came in with series of bullshit.

"Oh dear lord, there you are." She said as she walked into the room. I totally ignored her because I had so much on my mind.

"Chris, talk to me. Who was that woman?" She asked me, I didn't know who she was either so how was I supposed to explain.

"Chris!!" She yelled at me. I sighed and finally decided to explain it all to her.

How she called me late that night, how she kept claiming to know me. She kept acting like I was supposed to know her.

"Woah, I got the chills. Is this supposed to be some movie? She is just a stalker." She told me.

Stalker my foot.

"I feel it inside of me that I probably know her. Tonight, I felt like I was repeatedly stabbed in the heart when I saw her cry." I told her but she just rolled her eyes at me like I was stupid.

"Remember how your mom never lets you leave her sight?" She asked and I nodded. "You have never been here, how could you possibly know her?" She asked.

"Your mom probably planted her as a spy, maybe she found out I'm not doing the job she sent me." She added.

It wasn't making any sense to me, my heart and my entire self keeps telling me I know her but my brain also says no. When the heart and brain fights, who wins though.

She wouldn't stop blabbing about certain possibilities, all of which I do not agree with. I just needed the night to think and she was here bothering me with bullshits.

KHLOE DIAMOND

Last night old new, I'm putting everything behind and do just what's on my heart. It's a good thing today is a work free Saturday, I can lazy around the house and act like nothing happened.

I began playing Taylor Swift 1989 album, it's one of my favorites. Especially for this moment, it totally related to my pains. I was screaming at the top of my voice singing along in tears.

My head was spinning as I remembered how we used to be, to me, those were the best years of my life. I never imagined those moments never truly mattered to him.

My phone rang and I was shocked to see Kelvin's name on my phone screen. Wow!

"Holla Khloe." He said from the other side of the phone, I could picture the smile he must have had on his face. Annoying kid.

"Really now?" I subtly accused him.

"Sorry sis, I know! Guess what though, I'm in New York and boom! Right in front of your house." He replied.

I jumped out of the room and rushed down the stairs. How I didn't stumble, I don't know but I made it to the door safely. I was so happy! I opened the door to see my cute little brother smiling so brightly.

Oh, how much I missed him.

"Ain't you going to give me a hug?" He asked and I smiled as I gave him a bone crushing hug. It's been how many years now? Five?

"Uhhmm... K-bear." He said sounding so choked. I was quick to let go sadly. In five years, no one ever called be that!

It used to be Chris and Kelvin. Chris, because he gave me the name, Kelvin, just to tease me but it's no more funny.

"Don't, I don't want to hear it." I told him.

"I was just..."

"It's different now! Why'd you come back?" I asked him.

"Oh, done with College, thought I'd see my sister." He replied nonchalantly.

"And mom? I haven't been able to reach her in a week, you also weren't picking my calls or replying my texts." I told him.

Mom always talked to me every other day until she stopped, I was worried and tried reaching out to Kelvin but the idiot kid ignored me.

"She has been working" he said quickly.

"I told her not to work!" I yelled at him. He had one job, just one job and he couldn't do it well. Make sure she stays home and rest well.

"She was tired of being home always, she just wanted to do something." He replied.

"So why didn't she come with you?" I asked him, he took a quick pause and smiled.

"Work!" He said.

There was this look in his eyes that made it seem like he was lying. She wouldn't pick work over coming, after all she was there because of Kelvin, and now, she could finally return home. Work? Total crap!

"Kelvin! Quit lying, why didn't she come?" I asked him again.

He went silent, and said sadly "Mom died."

I slowly looked at him as my eyes widened in shock! "What?"

"Mom, what?" I couldn't hold those tears, they poured uncontrollably!

"She died last week." He told me.

"You didn't tell me, that one last time to see her, you deprived me of it!" I cried.

"I could have seen her Kelvin" he came over and tried holding me but I fell to the ground, shattered.

"I told her to come home, I should have insisted. I shouldn't have let her....." Words escaped my mouth as I cried, I blamed myself!

Kelvin just stood there watching me cry my eyes out, he was obviously torn between crying along with me and consoling me.

"It's not your fault, she wouldn't listen to me either. I bet it was just time for her to go." He told me.

I spent the whole day crying and mourning my mom, her absence will be greatly noticed every step of my life.
