~~~ Recap ~~~
"Is that a birthmark?" he asked, pointing to the left side of the male's face, noticing the rather red patch he had, not to mention two very different eye colours, a cloud right and a blue sky left.
Todoroki's eyes widened, he was the first person who asked about his scar, "Ren, that's not nice," Chihiro-san scolded him, smacking his arm.
"What? I can't ask?" he said, honestly.
The group wouldn't be lying, they were interested in his mark, they were unsure themselves if it was a scar or a birthmark, not taking the risk of asking, and by the boy's reaction, it was a sensitive subject like his father.
"I–it's not a birthmark," shoto mumbled, looking down and the ground, shifting on his foot again, Bakugou looking at him with a weird expression, it seems there are a lot of sensitive things he has. Should have told him earlier his family is nosy, "it's a scar," he said, looking at the old man and women who looked at him with pitiful expressions.
Gulping he didn't say more, there was nothing left to say, it was a scar and nothing more. "A–mum dad, you must be hungry from the drive you had, honey, you help with their bags, I'll make some lunch," Mitsuki said, Bakugou nodding as he took the couple's bags away, everyone shuffling around the room as they looked for things to do.
Ren-san and Chihiro-san followed the ash-blonde female into the kitchen while shoto stayed where he was, signing out with his eyes closed, relaxing. This is going to be a long holiday.
~~~ Present ~~~

——————————————————

Seven days, Shoto has been here for seven days and he already wanted to go home. It wasn't that he didn't like the family, it was just that he wasn't comfortably lying to their face, comfortable with the looks he was getting for Ren-san.

Every time he entered a room the older man was in, he'd stop the conversation he was in, as if he wasn't talking, Todoroki would either ask what he needed or get a glass of water.

The male wouldn't even look at him, as if he wasn't there. Leaving the room and he'd hear him talking again about whatever like he never paused.

Bakugo-Kun wasn't making it easier, reminding him whenever he needed to talk about something he'd remind him in a hushed whisper, "we're not dating halfy, so stop acting like we are when it's just us," he made a valid point but it still hurt.

Who else was he supposed to talk to, what was he supposed to do? Sit in his room and read and be antisocial like he always is, hiding away so no one needed him to talk to. It felt rude and disrespectful to just hide in a room away from everyone.

This time he needed to talk to Bakugo-Kun about something rather important, so he was walking around the house looking for the male, trying not to get lost along the way. The house was huge.
