Katsuki still didn't know how he ended up in this situation, but to be completely honest, he wasn't complaining one bit. Not only was he back in the kitchen and baking with the squirts again, but he also had an assistant with him.

Shoto was asked to join in on the cooking spree when he and the kids came to the realisation; no one actually knows how to decorate a fucking cookie.

So here Shoto was, holding a piping bag very steadily as green icing flowed from the little snip in the bag, carefully outlining the Christmas tree shape of the cookies.

But again, Katsuki didn't know why he was asked to help the kids bake cookies for Santa when the family was planning on using leftover dessert to leave for the old fatso, but Daichi was giving puppy eyes; so he had to accept.

It was fascinating watching Shoto carefully outline the cookie, the concentration on his face was nothing Katsuki had seen. He was tempted to either start tickling Shoto, scare him, or just say his name to get his attention, although, for some damn reason he recoiled his tongue, biting it and keeping his hands beneath his chin as he rested into his hands, observing the boy across from him.

Every so often Shoto would adjust his grip around the bag, pushing more of the icing towards the head, squeezing as he repeated this step at least 4 times per cookie.

And rather than letting him do all the decorating, Katsuki let the kids add sprinkles and other decorative items to their designated cookie. Marusaki went all out with the sprinkles, leaving no edge uncovered; let's just say, the cookie no longer had a green base.

Daichi had a more delicate approach when it came to decorating, adding blue and red to the edges where the branches stood out, and adding a yellow one to the very top of the tree, for a 4-year-old, he did well.

Izumi decided to add unicorn sprinkles, with the addition of basic white, pink, baby blue, and pastel yellow ones to her tree. She didn't really have an order as Daichi did, but definitely had a plan more than Marusaki.

As all the cookies were set on the little plate for Santa, which already had the carrots for the Reindeer and the milk to the side. There was still one cookie left that had yet to be decorated, "There's still one cookie left." Daichi pointed out.
