Twenty-year-old Koshi Solaris walked through the entrance of Asakusa to see the town's atmosphere be quiet and peaceful. And everyone seemed to be nice to each other, including her.
"Welcome, miss!" a citizen greeted her. "Welcome to Asakusa!"
"Thank you!" Koshi gave the older woman a smile and a polite nod and continues.
"My, my, dear," the woman said to her husband. "She's very beautiful, isn't she?"
"Indeed, she also looks to be around Benimaru's age."
'Benimaru?' Koshi thought upon still hearing the couple talk from a distance.
She could smell food from a distance as she keeps walking until she finds the source and stops at the entrance of what seemed to be a bar. She could hear food sizzling, ceramic plates and cups clinking on hard surfaces, and people talking and laughing and having a good time. They sounded pretty loud.
Her stomach rumbles a little bit.
'I should have enough money to last for a week of staying here,' Koshi thought as she moves the blue curtain aside as entered the bar.
She sees the loudened joy and laughter come from a group of men. On the other side of the room was the bar where the cook was wiping the counter with his head down. She walks to the counter and takes a seat. "Hello, sir."
"Ah! Hello, miss," the cook looked up to finally notice Koshi. "How can I help you today?"
"What's your house specialty?"
"Oh, that would be our cooked Donburi."
"I'd like to order that please," Koshi smiles. "And a glass of water, if that's alright."
"Of course," the cook smiles. "I'll be right back with some water and I'll start your dish!"
"Thank you!"
The men kept being loud as their conversation was at an all-time high. Koshi closed her eyes as she goes deep into the thought of her memories.
She remembers when the restaurant in Siezuno would be this life with all the adults and children.
"Here you are miss," the cook returned with a glass of water.
"Thank you," Koshi accepts the glass while the cook begins to prepare Koshi's dish. She glanced up to see the menu.
"Visiting Asakusa?"
"Yes," Koshi nodded. "I'm just passing through. I'll be leaving by the end of the week."
"Are you looking for something?"
"No, just sightseeing."
"Hmm," the cook nods. "First impressions?"
"It's quiet and peaceful here," Koshi replies. "And the people here are very kind. I love the atmosphere here. It's wonderful."
"Ah, well we have Benimaru Shinmon to thank for that."
"Shinmon?" Koshi lifted her head.
"Yes, he's the captain of the Fire Force Company here in town."
