"How much further is it," I asked Olivia while we have been roaming endless fields for hours.
"No more than that far," she answers, as I'm sure she has for the fifth time in the last hour.

I look around at every direction field, when suddenly forest appears on the horizon. "Do we have to get to the forest," I ask, pointing straight ahead toward it, "Yes we do, but it's probably an hour before we get there," Olivia says, grinning as she sees me roll my eyes.

"You're welcome to use the time to explain to me who we're looking for and more importantly why we're looking for him," Olivia says teasingly and I briefly consider confiding all of this in her, but give up because I can't think of anything better to say.

"It all started yesterday on my birthday, but somehow it seems much longer," I confess. "A ball was given in my honor and I was allowed to choose one from a few young men, my current companion became the lucky one." Olivia looks at me suggestively and I grin. "At the ball there was a dance and we danced together and decided to leave that same night for different reasons, mainly to end the war."

"End the war?" asked Olivia confused. "Oh that part is funny," I say smiling. "Eliah is from Eragon, from the Assassins, and he thinks I'm the white warrior who could end the war." I laugh but the laughter fades when I see Olivia looking at me seriously. "What?", I say jokingly, confused.

"You? The white warrior from the legends," Olivia does laugh now, "His shtick is good I must say, but I didn't think you were that naive," she is laughing now, laughing at me.

"What do you mean," I now say coolly. She falls silent abruptly and looks at me almost pityingly. "Well, getting a princess to leave the palace by making her think she's special and then leaving her is a pretty good scam. Maybe he was paid by people to take you to a certain place".

I shook my head. "You're lying!", I almost yell at her but in my head it's working. This can't be true, what would he never do, it screams in my head.

I feel a kind of anger rising inside me and suddenly my head is empty and it's silent. Very quiet. I hear someone screaming from a distance, but inside me there is only silence. I am the silence.

Someone shakes me and I slowly regain consciousness.

"EMMA!" it screams through the fog and I am shaken again. I open my eyes and straighten up. Olivia is kneeling in front of me, looking at me with a mixture of fear and relief.

"What happened," I mumbled, holding my throbbing skull. "You...um," Olivia stammers. "You exploded, I think," she says softly and carefully.

"Exploded?", I ask, laughing tensely, but when I realize she's not laughing I look around properly and cringe. Within a radius of 10m, every field is flattened and discolored whitish. I laugh up, "Ha and you still thought Eliah is screwing with me".

I stand up in amazement and looked at the grass. "Tell me exactly what happened," I ask Olivia, turning to face her. "Well..." she stammers, "You got angry at first but suddenly you were calm and then your eyes got kind of bright and a shockwave went off of you."
