"Spencer James." Sophia called out as she waited outside the main office for the new boy to come out. "I'm Sophia." She said approaching the young boy, extending her hand out in a greeting manner.

"I'm Spencer." He said with a small smile as they shook hands.

"No shit, I know who you are. I'm the one that is going to give you your tour. Welcome to Beverly Hills." She said keeping a smile on her face as they both turned to walk around Beverly High.

"You play any sports?" He asked her as they made their way around the school.

"I just cheer." She said with a small smile.

"That's good, because that means I'll be seeing you around a lot." He said with a small smirk.

"Or because I'll be your friend." She said nudging him a bit followed by a laugh by both.

After showing him around they made their way to class, somehow they had all classes together except for the last class. He had History and she had Math with the Baker Twins.

They made their way to the cafeteria for lunch. "Salad bar, coffee cart." Sophia said as she showed him around the cafeteria and as they made their way to an open table outside for lunch. "They serve Sushi on Fridays." She said as they took a seat.

Spencer had a small chuckle before saying, "Sushi on Friday? At Crenshaw, we get Sushi on Monday, that's all."

Sophia chuckled and went in to open her salad that she had picked up from the salad bar. "Smart and funny. I'm impressed." She said, making them both give a small laugh. A laugh that was genuine and that both would share often from then on out.

Soon, Spencer's attention was drawn to none other than Layla, Beverly High's golden girl. That was thanks to Sophia being sent to rehab for months. Once Sophia was away, Layla filled in the spot of the perfect girl and basically had everyone wanting to be her.

Sophia looked over to where Spencer's eyes went and she sighed. "Layla Keating." She said turning back over to Spencer. "That's Beverly Hills resident sweet heart." Sophia said with such sarcasm.

"I'm getting that you both don't get along to well." He said taking his attention off Layla to look at Sophia.

"Wrong, me and Layla have a good friendship. In fact I have or at least had a friendship with everyone. Yet, once summer happened, I pretty much had cero amigos." Sophia said looking down at the salad in front of her.

"You have a friend in me." Spencer said bringing a smile to the young girls face.

"You must be Spencer." A male voice says from behind Sophia.
