"James fakes the handoff and goes up the middle. He gets a block, and he's loose." The announcer calls out as the game against Logan High is in full effect.

"He's at the 35, the 30, the 25. He's gonna go all the way. Touchdown, Spencer James, with an amazing, 40-yard dash for the score." The announcer called once again as the crowd goes wild.

The crowd is cheering and clapping. The cheer team is screaming in excitement with their pom poms. In the crowd sits Sophia trying to block out the noise. Beside her sat her two friends, Olivia, who was their through thick and thin. Her other friend, Layla, who managed to make amends after the terrible words that were said.

Behind the three sat, Laura, Alayna, and Melanie.

They was all enjoying the game and cheering on the Beverly High Eagles, except for one. Sophia was having a rough time blocking out the loud cheering and clapping. The young girl just wanted to crawl in her bed and never come out. But there she was at a football game trying to fill a void in her life.

She wanted nothing more than happiness but she knew things wouldn't be okay. Why? Because she was craving it. She wanted it. She needed it.

In between the game and the cheering happening around her the young girl reached into the pocket of her hoodie and pulled out her phone. Bringing up the contact of someone she knew would put her out of her misery.

She typed up a message to send to the contact.

Hey can you bring me some of the stuff you last gave me. I'll be in the Beverly parking lot.

She turned back to look at the smile her mother had on her face. Before bringing her attention down to her brother who was on the sideline cheering his team on. Seeing them smile made her erase the message and push through it without it.

Olivia noticed how off her best friend was so she sent her a small smile as Sophia brought her eyes up to look at her.

"Are you okay? Do you want to head out?" Olivia asked a bit concerned getting Layla to join in on the conversation.

"We can have a small girls night if you want." Layla said bringing a small smile onto the young girls face.

"Yes, I would love that." Sophia said with a small smile as she looked between Layla and Olivia.

"Perfect, your place or mine?" Olivia asked looking over at Layla.

"Uhh.." Layla said with a small unconvinced face.

"Mine." Sophia said softly nodding her head slowly.

"Sounds perfect." Layla said with a small smile.

As the game continued Sophia noticed something was off with Spencer. Even though he tried to brush it off. She knew when something was bothering him.

As the game went on the Beverly crowd continued to cheer and Sophia was trying to join in the fun but she just couldn't. The Beverly High Eagles end with a win even with Spencer out of it. Jordan stepped up and completed the position as captain.

As the girls made their way over to the parking lot Sophia took a small detour to speak to someone.

"Hey, Baker." Sophia called out as she approached the young boy that was placing his duffel bag into the trunk of his car.
