Revali (POV)

I woke up to the light of the crackling fire getting brighter again. I opened my eyes to see Link re-lighting the fire that was about to go out. I realized it was very early in the morning. It was still pitch black but birds could be heard chirping. "Link... what are you doing up?"

Seeming to panic Link looked over to me "Uhmm nothing?" I sighed and scooted over to him "Did you pull another all nighter to gaurd?" he frowned and shook his head "No..." I sighed "Honestly Link you really must get some sleep. So go to sleep. Now." I said in a authoritized voice. Link was about to protest but he mustve seen the seriousness written on my face because he nodded and layed down on the rock hard ground.

I sighed and grabbed the cloth I was using before to keep myself warm while sleeping and draped it over him. He jumped a little "Wont you be cold?" I shook my head "Im fine. Go to sleep Link." he groaned and laid back down. He seemed to have fallen asleep quickly though because I soon heard soft snores coming from the blonde hylian.

I looked down at my wound that was on my wing and frowned. That damned burn was keeping me from helping Link. Then I remembered something I read about. Something called a fairy tonic. They could supposedly be slathered on a wound and it would heal faster. I would mention it to Link when he awoke again.

-time skip-

I watched Link sit up from his sleep. He gasped and looked around "Revali what time is it?!" I smirked "8" he panicked "I was supposted to meet with Zelda at 7!" I shook my head "She came over earlier and told me to tell you that she canceled it because she didnt have a problem anymore. So I decided that I should let you sleep in. You're welcome." He sighed in relief "Thanks Revali..."

Then I talked to him about the fairy tonic. He gasped "Why didnt I think of that?! I am so so sorry." he grabbed the sheika slate and tapped around a bit before taking out a clear glass bottle with a pink substance inside.

"Okay this might hurt a little." I shook my head "I am the Great Revali. I can take it." He chuckled "Of course you can." He lifted up my wing gently and took the bottle cork out with his teeth.

He started pouring it on and rubbed it around the wound. I could tell he was trying his best to be gentle but I had to admit it did hurt a little. I wouldn't tell him that though.

After he was finished it surprisingly started seeping into my skin without a trace. "Woah that feels much better... N-not that it hurt much before. It was just a minor inconvenience!" I said stubbornly. He smiled at me "Of course thee oh mighty Great Revali." Link said standing up and bowing playfully. "Oh shut up you rascal!" I said ruffling his surprisingly very soft hair.

We decided we should start getting to work on things. We went into the library and saw everyone working hard. Gerudo, Zora, and Rito were sweeping and painting and spackling cracks in the walls and the least damaged pillars while the gorons were rebuilding pillars that were almost or completely gone. Some of the bigger and seemingly older gorons were working on the broken ceiling, lifting heavy rocks twice their size and holding them in place while the cement dried.

Me and Link went over to help the gorons with the pillars. I knew Link was strong but even he had his limits so he couldn't really help with the ceiling. I could definitely do that but I wanted to make sure Link could do the job with the pillars correctly. I totally didnt wanna just spend more time with him...

For now me and Link were helping to rebuild a pillar. We had to take metal sheets and put them in a square while cement and thick metal poles sat inside of it. Me, Link, and some other gorons were holding them in place. "The cement should dry in about 15 minutes. Then the gerudo will sand and paint the design on it while in the mean time we move on to the next one."
