Dear Sister,

How are you, dear? I received your letter just a few days ago and I just needed to reply right away.

I can't say that things have gotten better. Just the other day, Oliver and I had dinner at Monet's but I felt like someone was following us. Oliver and I don't feel safe. Just the other day, Oliver came back from work pale. He refused to say but I am sure it had something to do with the "cave."

But the strangest thing happened. A man barged into the restaurant we were in and started screaming for help. I was paralyzed but Oliver knew who that man was. His name was McTeague, I believe.

He started screaming about animals, and beasts. It was horrid that Oliver and a few men had to take him away. But what he said next, chilled me to the spine. He mentioned the witch.

The witch with red hair.

Did he perhaps go to Africa? Did you see him? What happened?

Before things got even worse, Oliver had to take me home but we were stopped by one of the men who work with Oliver. They had to take Oliver for questioning. I am terrified. Thankfully, Oliver came back with no signs of torture or anything but I know we are not safe.

Not anymore.

I can feel eyes staring at me as I write this letter. I'm not sure how to communicate with you by sneaking this letter to someone we both know. I just hope that by the time comes, they would get off our backs.

But I found something interesting last month. The wailing woman sneaked into our house when it rained. Oliver and I weren't sure what happened but the wailing woman only pleaded something.

"Let me see them...Let me see them..."

She kept repeating the same words. I felt sorry for the woman but I wasn't sure what she was looking for. I had a feeling that those were the only words she was going to say, but she said a name.

Gray.

That's your father's name, isn't it? She knew him. I tried to get more information out of her but she only wailed to see them again and left before we can grab her. I remember when you mentioned that Vincent and your father used to work together before that night happened.

Just who is this woman?

What does she want?

And how does she know Gray?

I just hope to get more answers before things get more complicated. I pray that father and Tarzan are safe. And please, take care of yourselves. Once Vincent hears more from McTeague, I'm not sure how I would be able to stop for what's to come.

I love you,

Your sister.

A/N: I decided to put My Heart is Truly Yours into construction and edit it well. I thought of my literature and thought about fixing them in the first book. Feel free to tell me what I should work on. I am going to unpublish the first book for a few days to edit so you guys can read them at once. Please be patient and have a nice day/night 😉
