"Brook, I have a question?"

Brook hummed, not looking up from her book. It was a night warm evening in the treehouse. She was reading an old book from the bookcase while Tarzan sat by her side and read his book. It wasn't anything surprising for her husband to be confused about some things, this could be one of the things.

"What's this word?" Tarzan looked down at the page, glancing at Brook briefly. Tarzan smirked, seeing her glancing at him in question before going back to her book. "This word here...K-I-S-S?"

Brook frowned, blinking at her husband's question. "You should know this one...K-I-S-S is kiss." She stopped, closing her book, and turn to him. She chuckled, seeing him smirking at her while leaning into her.

"And what does that mean again?" Tarzan coyly smirked at her, looking down at her lips before back up at her eyes.

Her cheeks rosed, trying not to smile at his antics, and went along. "Let me see if I can offer a definition or better yet...a demonstration," she smiled as they both closed their eyes, leaning into each other.

However, their small moment was interrupted as they both stopped when they heard bushes rustling from outside. Tarzan was the first to pull away, walking towards the entrance.

"Love?" Brook frowned worriedly.

"We're not alone," Tarzan spoke before jumping out of the treehouse to investigate. It was dark, difficult to see but the rustling of the bushes was thankfully loud for him to jump to the tree and slid down, stopping right above it. He frowned as the bushes kept rustling below and jumped down, quietly walking over and peeking.

Moving the bushes, he blinked and looked around as there was nothing inside. He stood up, cautiously looking around before sporting movement in the corner of his eye. Looking up, his eyes widened to see a figure climbing up a vine and towards the treehouse.

Towards Brook.

Brook knew Tarzan could take care of himself but couldn't help but be worried for him as he was staying out a while. She just hoped it wasn't dangerous. Crouching to her seat and put the books away. She lightly hummed, walking back to the bookshelves.

Brook stopped as she heard the floorboards squeak under heavy weight. Walking towards the entrance, she yelped and jumped back as Tarzan tackled a man into the door, breaking it down. Brook's eyes widened, recognizing the man from the Waziri Village, and rushed over.

"What are you doing here?!" Tarzan growled, pressing the man into the ground.

"You're invited to the wedding!" the man exclaimed, making Tarzan stop. He blinked, looking down at the man, and frowned. "A wedding?"
