Chapter 7: Aaron

"Lilian i told you, it was a doctors letter." I groaned for about the 100th time.
"That didn't look like a doctors letter!" She retorted sharply.
"Lil I have to go." I hissed. She grabbed my arm.
"I can't believe you think you can just blow me off like this!" She snapped.
"Lilian!" I growled and overwhelmed with frustration I kissed her until I wasn't angry anymore.
"Lil please." I pleaded all anger gone from my voice. I must have sounded as desperate as I felt, for she let me go.
She looked into my eyes for a long time, and then she whispered " I trust you, but I need you to hurry home to me. I respect your privacy but I can't be in a relationship made of secrets." Lilian told me.
"Thank you baby." Relief flooded my voice and features.
"now promise me there's nothing to worry about?" Lilian pleaded.
"I promise, no wait I swear on my life lil I will come home to you."
And with that she reached up and kissed me a long passionate kiss.
It wasn't just a kiss it was a promise. A promise I don't know if I can keep.
I pulled away. Tears filled her eyes, wiping them away with my lips.
"I love you." I murmured.
And then I spun on my heel towards the front door leaving Lilian standing in the middle of the room.
