I got up and hugged her and smiled.
Me: Having you as a mom is one of the best gifts ever in this journey. I know you worried and you feel like you have to protect me but am okay.

I looked at them bickering with each other and smiled.

I looked at both of them and took a sip of my whiskey.
Me: I do not remember asking you guys " if you can" I remember saying " I need you to..." now ill like for the meeting to be tomorrow around lunch. I took out a phone and placed it on the table.
Me: You will use this phone to call me when the meeting is set.
Than I got up and turned.
Me: Oh if you do anything stupid. I know where your wife and kids are. I turned and left smiling, this is going to be like taking candy of a baby....
