I walked in to the lounge from the garden with my herbs.
Me: What are you watching?
Buhle: am watching the royal wedding and they crowning her a princess.
Me: We still have those?
Buhle: Yep we still have royals.
She got up and helped me. Buhle is the only family I have. My sister and I managed to run away from Osburne when they burnt all our family members for witchcraft. She was pregnant with Buhle and died during labour so it has been me and buhle ever since. She been my strength on my dark days and my smile on my good days. She reminds me so much of what iv lost too. Sometimes I think about her if she is still alive and what happening to her and all.
Buhle: Come join me. This is going to be beautiful.  I placed my herbs. My clients are coming later so its okay to watch. I sat by the couch with my 16 year old Buhle smiling.

Amani
The past 3 weeks have been a roller coaster ride. My dad have insisted that we continue with the wedding first before attending to his health. I think its more of the fact that he has given up on life and wants to see me well first before he gives up. I stood by the mirror with my afro combed. And looked at myself, i looked beyond words. The big gown only hugging my figure and the detail on my chest was remarkable. I felt tears on my face as the girls gave me a hug.
Luthando: are those happy tears?
Me: Yes
Lunwabo: they better be . We giggled
The doors opened and Grandma kalechi walked in holding a small box. I think she and I have somewhat became best of friends the past few weeks.
Grandma: You look amazing, come let me give you something that I wish for you to have. She took out a small book she was holding and showed me the beast stud earrings smiling at me.
Me: they so beautiful,thank you
Grandma: its my pleasure, come let me help you. She helped me with them while i was looking myself on the mirror.
Grandma:How are the nerves?
Me: Am super nervous.
Grandma: you going to be perfectly fine.
Dad walked in smiling.
Dad: Ready sweetheart?
Me: Am so nervous dad.
Dad: You look breathtaking in that dress your highness.
I looked at him as we laughed. And grandma kalechi smiled at me giving me the most reassuring hug ever.

I sat there watching as people from different kingdoms walk into the hall wearing the finest clothes. The anchor was standing next to the old wood doors.
Buhle: I can't wait to see her.
Me: so you all don't know her
Buhle: Nope, he has never taken a picture of her in all his social medias and plus we only heard about this last week. Didn't think he will be getting married. Always thought the other one will be the one.
Me: Other one?
Buhle: They twins
Me: i see
Anchor: Today is going to be the first time we are seeing the woman who have won Zweli heart. The prince is not much of a socialite like his brother Zwakhe, but today we shall see the woman who caught his heart.
The doors open with the whole royal family throwing petals to the newly weds and We couldn't see them than the anchor tapped the old man and he turned and my heart caught up in my chest as I saw the man that iv loved all my life.
Anchor: How are you
Donald: Am good and yourself
His voice was still that strong rich bubbling voice i fell in love with.
Anchor: Amazing. Please introduce yourself to the world
Donald: Am Amani Nciza father.
Anchor: And who is Amani Nciza.
He grinned and turned around calling her and she walked so elegantly with the most gorgeous dress on her.  Her afro so black and rich, her smile perfect. I could hear Buhle screaming with excitement.
Amani: Baba
The way she said it with so much emotions and bowing a bit showing him respect. He really raised her well.
Donald: This lovely lady will want to know you
She grinned blushing
Amani: Hi
I watched as the anchor bowed and she blushed red.
Anchor: Your highness
Amani: Please call me Amani
Anchor: I literally had a million questions for you but now all I can say is wow you look amazing.
Amani: Thank you
Anchor: Who dressed you today?
She looked at the anchor confused.
Amani: My self.
Buhle and the anchor laughed and she smiled.
I looked at her seeing her father nose, eyes and lips. She is my daughter right to the core.
Buhle:Mama you crying
I quickly wiped the tears from my eyes. My daughter is alive, Donald is alive!! I watched as the Prince came to the tv focus looking at her with so much kindness and love.

I stood there in my father lounge watching as she blushed and smiled and spoke so delicately. My heart was pounding so hard.
Dad: Son , let it go.
I took the remote and paused it on her smiling at the young lady all her perfect straight teeth showing.
Me: Not when Iv found what iv been looking for all my life.

Zweli
Today is the best day of my life. I walked up to the corner where the tiny interview was.
Me: Can You please excuse us for a minute.
The anchor was shaking and I figured I always have that effect on people.
Anchor: Your highness.
She bowed and I smiled
Anchor: Before you leave, mind sharing how you two meet?

Amani
I looked at him as he looked at me chuckling
Me: Its a funny story actually
Zweli: Really now?
Me: You were invading my space
Zweli: You are aware that, that spot is a community spot anyone and everyone can be there and stand there
Me: Not when you can see that someone is there though. That my love is called invading privacy.

Amandla

She blushed.
Buhle: Sorry
Me: uhm how can we be in touch with them? My heart was pounding so hard as we watched the crowning.
Buhle: Zweli is on social media but am not sure about Amani.
Me: Can you check?
Buhle: Okay.
She turned and looked at me with her curious eyes.
Buhle: Mama???
Me: Hmmm
Buhle: You crying again
I wipped the tears.
Me: Find her
Buhle: Why?
Me: Because she is my daughter.!!
She jumped from the couch and looked at me with shock. She looked at the tv than looked at me and stood there with her phone in her hands...
