(POV:Reader)
-"No, my father wouldn't do that"
-"My mother left us when I was born or she died, he isn't really specific, father says both are just as bad" I explained.
-"Do you really think that?" he looked over to me, probably trying to see my reaction.
-"He couldn't possib-"
-"That doesn't answer my question, love"
-"I-I don't know"
-"I can't say what he has or hasn't done 'cause I don't see him often, only when he comes to visit"
-"We're here" I cleared my throat and pointed to the tunnel door.
-"Come with me" he took my hands in his, pulling them lightly towards him.
-"I can't"
-"Can't or won't"
-"I really can't, I'd leave Quasi here and my father's rude to him enough, imagine what he'd do if I was gone" I shivered at the thought, especially after hearing that story.
-"Then I'll come visit you"
-"You can't, he'll see you and if not him the guards will"
-"I'm leaving now and they haven't seen me" he smirked and I gave him a look.
-"I'll come after sunset..."
-"And if you ever need sanctuary, this will show you the way" he put a woven pendant around my neck, it looked like a map of some sort.
-"Now go, my father will be looking for me soon" he kissed my cheek and left, leaving me with reddened cheeks.
-Back to the Bell Tower-
-"Quasi! Quasi! I've just met the most wonderful perso-" I cut myself off, seeing as father was standing next to him.
-"And who would that wonderful person be?" he waved a hand to walk to my room.
-"Oh! Father! I was just gonna tell Quasi about...the umm...new priest!" I opened the door, let him in and he closed it...weird.
-"Very well" the look on his face let me know he didn't believe me, but he wouldn't push it, something he's never done.
-"You look just like your mother, dear" he caressed my cheek then moved a hand to my hair, twirling a strand between his fingers.
-"You're mother was very beautiful, you know that"
-"She was a dancer, just like the ones we saw the other day, she was very good..." he pulled me into a weird type of hug, playing with my hair and putting his head in the crook of my neck.
-"F-Father?" I felt uncomfortable, and tried to push him off, but him being a grown man was much stronger, and he wrapped an arm around my waist, pulling me closer and tighter.
-"I wonder if..." he moved my hair and kissed my neck. That was enough for me. I pushed him as hard as I could and he stumbled back a bit.
-"Y/N!" he yelled.
-"Y-you're my father, y-you can't do that" tears threatened to fall from my eyes.
-"You're very wrong, my dear"
-"I am not your father, I killed your parents years ago..." he chuckled, watching as my expressions changed to a frightened one.
-"And you, young lady, won't and can't tell me what to do" he walked closer to me once more but I stepped back, eventually hitting a wall.
-"I couldn't have your mother, but you, you I will have..." he played with my hair again.
-"And no one will take you from me, I will eliminate each person who saw you that day, my love" he kissed my cheek and walked away.
To say I felt uncomfortable would be saying the least, I felt more afraid and frightened than anything. I think what frightened me the most was that he would be back and that there was no escape, as the door was now locked.
(A/N):
After this book, (it's not ending soon, just letting you know!) I will re-visit my Raya and the Las Dragon story and editing it a bit, adding more romance as requested and probably an alternate ending. After that I'll look through my requests list and add the next story.
hope you enjoyed the chapter!
Bye!
