The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Male! Esmeralda x Reader)

The Bonfire Part 1

(POV:Reader)

-"There'll be a little bonfire at the square tomorrow, you are all invited to come" Frollo announced.

-"Lock them up, except these two, keep him in the bell tower and I'll take her" the smile on his face disgusted me.

-"No" I told him, trying to pull away from the guard.

-"You come with me, or you'll burn tomorrow"

-"If I can't have you no one will" he whispered to me, his face so close to mine.

-"I'd rather burn than stay with you" I told him through gritted teeth.

-"Foolish girl, just like your mother" he scoffed.

-"Lock them up, bring the girl to the tower, her punishment is waiting for her" I tried to pull away but a second guard came to help.

-"No! Y/n! Leave her alone!" Ezra was able to pull away for a bit before he was tackled down by a set of guards.

-"Don't worry, you'll see her tomorrow at the bonfire" he chuckled and Ezra was pulled away, alongside the other gypsies.

-Back to the Bell Tower-

-"Make sure he can't leave, we wouldn't want him ruining the fun for tomorrow" Quasi was chained to the stone posts of the bell tower. They treated him like some monster, he was chained up like a beast.

-"And you know where to take her, maybe some time in the room will loosen her up" they dragged me off to the dreaded room once more.

I didn't bother complaining, I wouldn't want them to give me the option to go back to Frollo instead. The only thing I was fearing a bit more than Frollo right now was that they had Gypsies locked up in all cells. Meaning they could torture people all night until I was taken out in the morning to the 'bonfire'.
