The rain falls and the wind blows across my face as I strolled across the empty park in the direction of my apartment. The once beautiful vibrant visuals of the foliage and terrain that surrounded me looked gray and dark in color at night. The freezing droplets moved fast to the point where they hid my tears and washed away the blood from my nose. The blistering rain didn't alleviate my pain, not from my bruised nose but from my heart. We both went to the same college and class together. She was interested in me and we both got close to where I liked her and soon she invited me to her place this very night. My heart throbbed with each beat. Today is the day I tell her that I love her.
