I drove far away as fast as I can while Chelsea was right next to me. She moaned and hissed in pain from the cuts on her back.

Y/n: Chelsea, don't worry I'm going to get you help!

She then gave me a confused look.

Chelsea: Y/n... You saved me?... I thought you and I were done.

I then closed my eyes and sighed.

Y/n: I take everything back that I said to you earlier. You were right and I was stupid for doubting you. I went to Rose's shop and discovered she was a heartbreaker the entire time and I didn't believe you... Chelsea, I'm so sorry...

Chelsea: Y/n...

I gave her a look of regretful sorrow.

Y/n: But you were right about me and my loneliness. I just wanted to fill that empty void in my life and get to spend time with someone that holds me dearly to them and cares as much as I do. I've never thought that my first love was a God damn murderer. I am so sorry that you met a Naive and selfish person like me and got involved in this. I got what I deserved. I was close to breaking down crying for not believing Chelsea and abandoning her to fend for herself.

Y/n: I wouldn't blame you for hating me. It doesn't matter if I live or die, I'll be out of your life for good. You'll get to enjoy your life more than having it with me.

She looked saddened by what I said and she finally spoke.

Chelsea: Why would you say that dude?

Chelsea then held my hand and caused to me look her in the teary eyes.

Chelsea: I have to admit, it was wrong that you left me but I would never hate you, dude. I've always been glad to see you happy, alive, and well. Even if I'm having a bad day, you were always there to lighten it. Sure life can be shitty and I know how it feels to be lonely too but don't let it dictate your life. There's so much more to spend time and enjoy the things in life and get to see the world.

Then I saw her give me a lighthearted smile as she wipes the tear from my face. Soon as we made it to a red light, She hugged me and I embraced her as well.

Chelsea: I know this is gonna sound corny dude but you gotta believe in yourself. I've seen you get beaten down but you just don't give up. Not only for yourself but for me too. And I'm going to stand by your side and help you all the way just like you did for me.

Y/n: Geez, I didn't know you were such a good motivator. I'm not sure what I do if you were gone.

Chelsea: same here dude...

We both gave each other soft smiles until she had tears, not from sadness but from joy.

Y/n: what's wrong Chelsea?

Chelsea: Nothing is wrong but I'm just glad you're here because I wanted to tell you something for a long time.

Y/n: Sure what is it??

She then suddenly gave me a kiss and the moment felt breathtaking. We were locked in a kiss before pulling away as the red light turned green.

Chelsea: I love you dude, I always have...

Y/n: Love you too...

We held each other's hand and smiled as we went on our way to the police station through a park that had dense trees that looked like a forest. With us being reunited again, we were reassured that we will see the day again and spend our lives together. I then look to a sign that says 5 miles until our destination.
