Not an NPC but an Alice!

Whisoering wasn't the best thing for sure. It may be even the worst thing we could have done because the moment he answered back this creature turned around and ran straight at us.

Shiggy: SHIT! RUN!

Me and my damn mind didn't do that at all. Instead I was frocen in place and needed to see Shiggy cover me and take the bit to the sholder.

Me: ... SHIGGY!

What did you expected me to do?

I was just the normal person. Nothing special about me. Yes I knew some archery but not fighting and that thing was huge.

Was I scared?

Yes!

There was no need to question this at all.

Me: ACE!

I screamed his name as he graduately got limp around me. However he also managed to use his ability of desintegration on the things snoot and that was why it just let go and started backing away. Still the way he got hurt was bad. Very bad. I knew he wouldn't hold on for long if I wouldn't find a way to deal with his wounds or this sitation. In fact if I didn't find a way we both would be dead for sure.

Shiggy: Get... yourself... to ....safety.

That was all he said befre going complete limp and that creature screaming at us

What do I do now?

I wasn't sure what to do at all but there was only one thing I could do and so I let Shiggy down to the ground, grabbed my bow and started shooting one arrow after another at this creature. The arrows thankfully managed to penetrate it's skin eventho I was doubting it for a moment.

Jabberwolky: ROAR!

It was definitelly not liking this at all but I didn't mind that at all. I had someone to protect. I still couldn't believe that he would sacrifice for me this easily. This was just ridiculous.

Why?

Why would you do that, you dumbass!

I would have loved to question this idiot. However there was another problem right now and I had to focus on it or I would be dead. This was surely no situation to play around at all. I was in danger and I felt it with each fiber of my being.

The monster came running at me as I jumped to the side and continued circeling and shooting one arrow after another. It was all I could do and I hoped that this would be enough. Too bad for me that it wasn't even a bit of done.

On the plus side I could see the progress of this mission and it was on 30% by now.

Me: Oh come on! You gotta be kidding me now!

I tried to grab for another arrow but there was none. I shot every arrow I had at this creature and I did hit it with every single one. Now all I could do was muster all of my courage. So I threw away my bow since I couldn't do anything about it anymore.

I hope these self defense lessons are enough for this....

With that, I grabbed tightly to the dagger as if my life was depending on it and started running at this creature. It definitelly took up the opportunity and started running at me too. I didn't had much experience with fighting. Everything I knew was from the self-defense lessons I got. However if there was one thing I knew, then that was to duck at these moments.

So I wated for the perfect opportunity and slit across the floor and used the dagger to cut at its leg. Naturally I head the creature scream.

YESSS!!!

Right after that I rolled away from it so I don't get smashed by its feat and didn't let it get away at all. In one moment I was beside it and in the next I was right behind it. Of course, I was carefull so it didn't see me at all.

It's now or never...

This is my chance!

There was a perfect opportunity in front of me and I had to take it up. So I ran at this creature and jumped at the back of his tail, climbing my way up. However it was definitelly getting violent and as it was shaking, I somehow lost the grip of my dagger and it fell away.

Me: NOO!!!

Now what?

I was scared and I didn't know what to do now. This was surely my end. If I was not careful and would let go, it would have toren me appart in a second. So all I could do was hold on as it tried to shake me off.

After what felt like ages, it stopped and I looked at it as it sat down letting me down in a very gentle manner.

What?

A bling sound came and I saw that the mission was over.

Me: Finally....

Huh... What's that?

A reward?

And thank good this is over....

A light started shining all around the Jaberwolky and in the next minute, I saw all the wounds healing up and the arrow dissapearing.

Me: No way....

Besides that I got an iteem right in front of me that said drink me, heal me.
