Jasmine is stares at me with wide eyes. We're in her bedroom having a sleepover

"He said he wants to take me on a date"

Jasmine sighs wow"

Despite myself i find myself smiling. "Im kind of excited"

Jasmine smiles too "it is exciting. I know im not exactly satan's biggest fan, but clearly he's putting in some effort"

Oh please" scofs ada

Jasmine rolls her eyes "Asda doesnt "do bad boys"" she says with finger quotes

Asda scawls "and for good reason, jas"

"Is this about bender" i ask curoously

"We are not talking about bender fender right now say Asda with a dark glimer

We talk about other things until jasmine smiles sly "alcohol, girls?"

Asda smile is wiked as a deviled egg "oh yes"

"- and then after he got punched by my parents he still asked me out!"

We are laughing at jasmine's story. We are drunk probably

"Ok, announces" asda "time for truth or dare"

"Ooh me first," sqeels jas. "Grmmarly truth or dare

"Hm" i ponde "truth"

Jasmine gigile "have you had youre first kis yet"

Um" i say face burned "not yet"

"Maybe youll get a chance on Saturday she winks at me

I laugh. Inside i panic. Will satan kiss me on our date? Will i want him to

"Before we carry on lets do shots" says asda. I take it becsuse i want to foeget about satan

I am beginning to feel a bit strange and dizzy now i blink hard. "Ok asda truth or dare"

"Dare" she grins

I dare you to post a picture of your feet on instarsam"

Jasmine and I Snickers as Asda takes a photo of her feet

"Ok done" she say "jas truth or dare"

"Dare"

asda looks at jasmine slyly "idare you to call berk"

jasmine laughs so hard she hicups "ok bitch"

She picks up her phone and dials it rings for a second then

"Jas?"

Jas lets out another hicup "heyyy berky boy"

"I though you didn't want to call me anymore"

Jasmine gigile like a strange goblins "i miss you my berky"

"ar you drunk" says berk after a beet

"Hic- no" says jasmine seriously "hiccc"

Asda lets out an agonsed sound and jasmine hits her in the eye

"Are you safe jas"

"Im with my besties" say jasmine. Then she pout "but why are you not here"

Berk sigh "you broke up with me remeber"

"BYE berkilicous" says jas with a cackle

"Wait jas-"

Jasmine hangs up and we laugh so hard we can't breath

"Relationships are complex" days jasd with a sign

"Ill drink to that" shout asda but we ran out of alcohol

"Theres something you should know about satan Grammarly" says jas

I look at her what"

"Hes in a gang"

"Oh ye i forgot about that" i say. Also didnt he burn his mom? Anyway who cared.

"There are two big gangs in this town" expains asda "the razor snakes and the mildly spicy peppers"

I frown "sounds dangerous"

"Ye" says jasmine "satan used to be in the razor snakes but he left to start a new gang: satans angels. They are small gang but everybody is scared of them."

"And a lot of people hate satan" contines jas "so you need to watch your backs with eggle eyes"

Jas and asda look at each oter "uh" say jas carfully "you should also know youre brothers are in the razor snakes"

I stare at them "brok and berk?"

They nod "brok and Saran used to be best friends like brothers but satans betrayal to the razor snakes destroyed theyre friendship"

I digest this"wow"

"No body nows why satan left" says jasmine "but they hate each oter now"

I digest this more "wow"

"Just though you should now" says jas "be prepared"

I consifer this information. Satan as a gang leader? Frightenin but easy to imagine. Brok and berk on the other hand? I shake my head. Maybe that's why brok is good with injuries. I remember how he held my wrist in the kitchen softly and how my heart was betting hard like a hard boiled egg bouncing on the floor

then i think about how jasmin dated berk

"is that why you and berk braked up? i ask "because he in a gang?

jasmine looks away "its complicated'

asda mouths drop it to me. 

"so anyway" i say quick "how about we watch the notbook?"

we snugle into the covers and watch it but i cant concentrate on the movie.

Satan, head of a gang. What exactlty happened between him and Brok? Why did Brok warn me about him. did he do something really bad

Did rick know his sons are in a gang? is he in a gang too? are me and my mom in danger? again? i dont think i can handle this again. this town was ment to be a fresh start.

i think of satan and his glimering emerald orbs. i think of his deep voice, his tall stature, the muscles i know he's hiding under his leather jacket. i shiver. can i trust him? how will the date go?

eventally i sigh. there is no point worrying. i tune out my thoughts and focus on the movie

i guess i will just have to see how things go
