"what is this"
"DONT YOU KNOW STARBUCKS?"
"new currency?"
"ARE YOU OUT OF TOUCH WITH THIS WORLD"

The two go on rambling for a while until they head in, where they later find a single person inside, sitting in the corner with a book in their hand. They walk towards her, grabbing their attention with their footsteps, the person then gets up placing their book down.

"I've been waiting for you for a while, where have you been.." They questioned as their focus quickly shifts to Akira's ocean-like eyes, dark midnight mane, long lean figure.

"I'm sorry Sage, I just had to wait for this fine gentleman to my left" Fay replied in a proud manner, later crossing her arms.

"Ito Fay. Have a seat." Sage said staring into Fay as she sits back down.

The two then sit down and call for a waiter, where Akira then notices Sage pulling Fay's shirt while keeping her focus on him. Where he puts his hands up to indicate not being a threat, Sage then stops and sits facing Akira, not batting an eye while letting the tension rise.

"Though I wish we met on a better timing, there's nothing we can do now so it's better if I start off the introductions, I'm known as Akira, I was brought here by a certain someone so please, excuse my presence." Akira muttered gesturing with his hands, getting approved by Sage in the process.

The awkward feeling later dies out when the waiter arrives, though they're not like your usual waiter, they walk towards the table humming to their song while breaking some dance moves. Even snapping his fingers to the beat, and closing his eyes to feel the rhythm, which causes him to crash right onto Akira.

"My apologies sir please forgive my actions I swear I didn't mea-" He says lowering his head in forgiveness, later looking up at Akira "Oh my.. quite prestigious you are." He said, under his breath.

Fay later mocks Akira later being stopped by Sage, the three then take their orders with Akira picking his usual black coffee, with no sugar of course. While the other two choose their usual Caramel Macchiatos, leaving Akira concerned about the sugar level. They wait for a couple of minutes until their order arrives, and in the middle of waiting they notice a familiar face with quite a huge following, though Akira is usually uninterested. He had gotten the urge to look outside, and fortunately for him the man had already entered the café, later heading to a table right beside the group's.

"aaand here are your orders, may you have fun, and to pop your bubbles you can look to your right. Mr.Yuki has grown quite fond of you as it seems, why don't you head over Mr.Akira, oh and the name's Kiyo it's a pleasure to make your acquaintance" Kiyo whispered with a smirk on his face, later sliding away. Akira zones out as he gets lost in Yuki's fox-like eyes, his noticeable rose coloured hair, and a smile bright enough to power a city. Though he quickly snaps back to his own reality after noticing Yuki's admiration to him, with his red glowing cheeks and awkward smirk, Yuki then switches back to his so called "professional" attitude.

Akira then takes a couple of sips of his coffee after his mental factory reset, which was ofcourse due to how long he zoned out, he questions that and finds it quite odd and very unlikely of him. He looks back at the girls and finds them fangirling over Yuki too, he gets up and pulls his pants up, fixing his collar and sleeve.

"and after that he gave me this look of admiration and respect, so since then I've been looking for hi-" Yuki said smiling, later noticing the tall lean figure on his right, taking away his attention. Yuki then gets up as a sign of respect, falling a bit behind in the height category though, he looks up to Akira and they share quite a long and awkward stare. Not one shutting an eye, since they both realize it's turned into a staring contest, they go on for a while since both are greedy but only one makes it obvious.

"Please have a seat sir. And Yuki for the love of God can you stop with your close inspections it is NOT being charismatic, you're being weird." The woman said with an angry tone, humbling even the biggest of detectives as a result.

Akira later sits down, noticing familiar faces on the papers popping out of their files, but stops staring after noticing Yuki's companion; Diana. With a suspicious expression on her face towards Akira, Akira casually continues drinking his cold coffee, avoiding looking back at Yuki who's openly admiring him.

"What brings you here Mr.Yuki? this town isn't too big on criminal rates to the point where even you interfere, am I not wrong?" Akira questioned not making it obvious that he isn't fond of Yuki's work.

"Well first off, drop the Mr if you may. Second of all, I'm unable to spread such confidential information, though you might have some relation i'm assuming you charming...

prince of death."

Yuki muttered with a low tone and a cold a stable stare right into Akira's eyes.

An unfortunate reminder for Akira, even , though he is left unfazed by the matter.

"Back to our topic, The celestials forces have been spotted, even some of the upper wards. Three of them to be precise, with 2 being found, right near you. Tell us everything, their ranks, outfit colours, and neck tattoos." Diana interrupted noticing the tension building up.

The trio then discuss for what felt like an eternity to Akira as it was mostly indirect interrogation, while the other two sat in the back with their usual gossips. It was quite intense, the clock's ticking getting louder, the brightness of the lights which felt like alarm lights. Which left him a strange sense of Deja vu, he sits back and raises his head regretting being in that moment, up until the moment he hears a file being shut.

"If you may excuse us now, our work is over, thank you truly Akira it was a pleasure seeing you again, we appreciate your efforts. Goodnight now, don't let those heavy eyes get in the way" Yuki said walking away with a mix of emotions with every step he took.

The other two also decide it's getting quite late and that they have to get a move on, they pay for their drinks and head out with Akira walking them home, not out of his own will though. Fortunately for him it was only a few minutes away from the café so it wouldn't take too long, and after a while they drop off Sage and later on Fay.

"Hey I'm sorry it was quite sudden when I dragged you all the way there and having to lead you on now, but thank you either way it means quite alot really, be careful now and take care, and ofcourse goodnight too." Fay whispered full of gratitude for an action she admired so much.

Akira is finally able to go back to his normal self with no worry in the world, walking home on an empty street, nothing on his schedule, and no distraction for sure. Until he hears the familiar rhythm of hardwood hitting and being dragged across concrete, and the somewhat psychotic whistle with a few finger snaps.

"They surely picked the worst time to send us out and they want us to look for HIM? how badly do they want his return, it's been about a year now hasn't it?" Kaori rambled due to his stress over his job, though he can't be blamed.

Akira takes his stance with his hands in his pockets, cigarette in his mouth, untucked and almost unbuttoned shirt with his head leaning back as he stretches. Awaiting what he had desired for so long, a battle leading to death.

"You know I truly feel like fear brings the most out of people, though it's only mentally, which is why I do the rest of the physical dissembling.. myself." Akira said with his eerie low tone, sending goosebumps through the duo.

"Stop with the all the deep talk you should've stayed in retirement, how long I wished for this day to come, your fate is in my hands now. My turn to curb stomp your pride." Kaori says letting emotion take the better of him.

The three men take their stances and await, as a new dawn of battle has begun.
