The need for Adventure

Prologue

Y/N's POV
I was walking around the Forest's path with my best friend Eclipse. We were always close. She was just sniffing around so I assumed she was hungry.
"Do you smell that? It smells like meat. And it smells delicious." Eclipse said, licking her lips.
I lightly giggled and sniffed. "No, then again your nose is better then mine." I told her.
"I really want to find it. Do you mind if I go fine it?" Eclipse said, I could see drool dripping out of her mouth. She looked really hungry.
"I don't mind, I can be alone for a minute or a few. Go ahead." I told her.
Her ears seemed to have twitched up and she looked at me very quickly. "But what if something happens!? What if there's danger! What if I can't protect you?" She started spazzing.
I rolled my eyes, I liked that she was protective but sometimes she was a bit much. "Eclipse you can trust me." I told her, hoping to calm her down.
"Alright.. You better be safe. I'll be right back." She gave me her toothy smile before running off.
I looked around for somewhere to sit, I saw a fine, smooth rock to sit on, I carefully sat on it and waited. I waited for I don't know how long. I looked up and saw a weird group walking by. There was a demon who seemed kinda tall. Two guys with cup heads. A nice looking wolf, and a cat.
Wait! I recognize that cat! That's Felix! I thought as I just looked back down at the ground.
"Well what's a beautiful woman like you doing all by herself?" Said one of them. I looked up and saw it was the Demon from the group.
"I'm just here waiting for a friend." I replied and looked back down.
"Bendy come on. Leave her alone." Said the wolf. He sounded a little cute. I looked back up and saw the wolf trying to drag the demon away.
"Boris we can't just leave her alone! Who knows what's in this forest? Maybe she could come with us?" The demon said as the wolf pulled him away.
"You heard her, her friend is coming!" The wolf said before the demon pulled himself away. "Bendy!"
"No Boris! I just want to make sure she's alright!" The demon said as he walked back towards me. "We can't let a beautiful face like yours get hurt." He gently grabbed my hand and kissed it. I blushed very hard.
"Get away from her you little drag!" Said an all too familiar voice. Suddenly Eclipse jumped out and scared the demon. Falling on his back. She was growling and showing her fangs. She snapped her teeth at the little Demon but I knew she wasn't actually going to hurt the demon, she was just showing off.
"Bendy look out!" I heard one of the cup guys say. He had his finger pointed at Eclipse. I was confused for a second before I saw a blue light coming out of his finger and it was pointed right at Eclipse!
"Wait! She's not going to-" I tried saying but it was too late. The laser fired off.

Eclipse POV
I was coming back after eating a delicious cooked rabbit. I had some extra in a tied up bag for Y/N in case she wanted any. I heard some muffled voices, including Y/N's. I slowly approached and saw a strange group. I saw a demon kissing Y/N's hand. I felt something in me snap.
"Get away from her you little drag!" I yelled as I jumped out. I didn't actually want to hurt him so I kept just snapping my teeth at him. He was backing up. Exactly how I wanted.
"Bendy look out!" I looked up and saw it was the red one talking. I flicked my ear curiously since I couldn't figure out why he was pointing at me. I realized there was a blue light coming out of his finger. I remembered reading about this. I panicked for a second, knowing there was only a little bit of time to react.
"Wait! She's not going to-" I heard Y/N scream. She said it too late. I saw the laser coming for me. It was huge. If I didn't react fast enough I know it would've hit the little demon as well as Y/N. I picked up the demon by the collar of his shirt in my jaw. I threw him into the arms of Y/N before shoving her away, away from the laser. I felt my whole body start to sting. My body was slammed into a tree from how strong the laser was. I felt the other half of my body burn. Everything went black.

Y/N
I stared at Eclipse. I felt tears coming down my face. No. No no no no no no no! I thought as I ran to her and collapsed beside her. "Eclipse! No! Your going to be okay!" I said as a few of my tears fell on her. I saw her wounds healing slightly faster then usual. I started to wipe away my tears. I knew she was going to be okay, she always was, despite her injuries. I looked at the group, trying not to glare.

Bendy POV
I felt really bad about what Cup Face did. I got up and slowly walked over to her. "I'm really sorry, is there anything we can do? To make it fair? Pay for a hospital? Medicine? Anything?" I asked the beautiful girl as I gave a small glare at Cuphead.
"No, no thanks, if I know my friend she'll be fine by tomorrow. But while she heals.. Can you tell me about that quest you were talking about earlier?" She asked me. I felt a small blush coming across my face as I looked back at the rest of the crew. Felix nodded, so did Mugman and Cuphead looked away. Boris only shrugged. It was good enough for me. I turned to her and told her all about what we were doing, everything about the quest to find the ink machine to save lives. She seemed a bit excited to hear about all of this.
"That all sounds amazing!" She told me. I lightly chuckled. "Well.. If you all don't mind. Can I come with? With my friend as well? As a form of an apology since you hurt my friend. And threw her at a tree." She said to us. I looked back at the guys. Cuphead nodded, Boris as well, and so did Felix. Mugman seemed nervous but still nodded. I smiled as I looked back at her.
"Welcome to the team." I told her.

Time skip

Eclipse POV
I woke up to being carried by the two cup heads. I yelped and twisted out of their grip. They both fell down but I didn't care. I ran over to Y/N and made sure she was okay. I got close to her and whispered in her ear. "Y/N, don't freak out but I think we're being kidnapped. Blink three times if you want me to attack." I told her.
"Eclipse we aren't being kidnapped. They invited us to their quest! I said yes. Imagine the adventure!" She told me. The smile she had on her face told me everything, she has been waiting for this. She really wanted this.
I sighed. "Fine, we'll go together." I put my paw on her shoulder. Now, whether I liked it or not. I was joining her on this quest.
