The need for Adventure

Chapter 19

Y/N POV
I can't believe I'm about to say this, I don't know why something just tells me there's something wrong with him. I thought as I spoke my answer. "Okay.. He can come with us, if the rest of the crew is okay with it!" I said, I looked at the others.
Boris wagged his tail and nodded. Mugman nodded excitedly with Boris. Felix nodded with a nice smile. Cuphead just shrugged. Bendy looked at me then at him. He didn't answer.
"Did you hear that? You can come with us! Yippee!" Eclipse said, jumping into his arms.
Sunbeam spun her around then held her close to him. He was taller then everyone, including Eclipse, but Eclipse seemed happy, I was still suspicious about him. The two got their faces very close to each other again.
"Bendy! Where's the next piece?" I asked him and walked over to him, I leaned over his shoulder, gently placing my hands on him.
"Let me see, hmm.." Bendy said, he studied the map. He was taking so long.
"Oh pass it here!" I reached in the side and snatched the map from him, I looked at it myself.
"Hey! I was looking for it!" Bendy said, he looked over my head to see if he could see it any better. "You're taking even longer then me Y/N." He said, I blushed as I felt him looking over me. I lightly huffed and felt the map get ripped out of my hands.
"Oh let me look at it, you both take too long." Eclipse said as she looked at it, Sunbeam looked over her head and tilted his head.
"It's.. Empty?" He asked as he gently rested his head on top of Eclipse's head.
"It's a magical map, it looks like we head towards the Crimson Village next. Or what's left of it anyways." Eclipse said, I quickly rushed to her side and looked. I didn't see anything with a village.
"Where are you seeing a village?" I asked her, she gently tapped the map where it seemed like it was bumps like mountains. "That doesn't look like a village, those looks like mountains." I told her, I looked up at her.
"It was destroyed many moons ago, it seems like this map is more.. Up to date then most maps. Come on, I know exactly where it is, you should too Y/N." She told me as she handed Boris the map, Boris rolled it up and packed it up.
"What do you mean Y/N would know where it is? Y/N? Have you been to the Crimson Village before?" Cuphead asked me, he got a bit close to me, his arm gently touched mine. I lightly blushed.
"Um, I don't think so, I don't remember going there, Eclipse are you sure we went there?" I asked her.
"I remember perfectly, remember that place of rubble and steam?" Eclipse asked me, tilting her head.

~Flashback~
Y/N was running around with Eclipse. She was so much smaller then Y/N, it made sense. She was a puppy. Y/N climbed over a fallen tree trunk and Eclipse just hopped over it. We kept running around the forest, running like nothing could ever catch us. Eclipse was more in front of her so she was trying to catch her. Reaching her arms out for the puppy, still running in front of her. Before the girl could catch the little pup she felt her foot get stuck under a thin, but deep in the ground rock, she felt herself tustle and fall. She felt herself land on something soft. She slowly opened her eyes and realized the little puppy caught her. Eclipse slowly helped her up and that's when Y/N looked around. She slowly rubbed her head as she brushed her hand through her H/C hair. The girl and the pup slowly looked around, seeing so much rubble and destroyed buildings. Y/N gently rubbed her ankle, she felt like it got sprained as she fell. Eclipse got low to the ground and allowed Y/N to get on her back. The Eclipse began to carry Y/N around all the rubble and destroyed buildings. There was a thin river running by but it was simply just giving off steam. There was a lot of steam so only the wolf could see well as Y/N was barely able to see the rubble around her. The wolf continued to carry her friend until she finally found a small path up. The wolf started to slow, very slowly climb up there. The poor little wolf's paws began to hurt as she was almost at the top, with a small and light whimper, the wolf unsheathed her claws and clawed her way up the rest of the pathway. She finally brought herself high enough to see Y/N's house. Y/N looked scared, Eclipse gently licked her hand as she slowly began to go down. Her paws were still aching as she brought the girl down towards her home, despite all the rocks digging into her paws, trying to cut them to make the wolf fall. The wolf looked back at her scared friend. Y/N was shaking, she seemed scared as if a tree was about to fall on her and she was powerless to prevent it. Eclipse gently licked her hand again to calm her down, but the poor little pup was scared herself, she was only being brave to keep her friend safe and calm. She was best at showing her false bravery but she was shaking and trembling on the inside. Finally the made it down, the little wolf took a dash for the house, her tail holding Y/N in place as she reached the door and scratched at the door, waiting for the parents to answer. The door opened and the two adults snatched their daughter Y/N and threw their shoes at her, causing the young pup to run away scared. She slowly waved goodbye to the wolf.

"Oh yeah.. I remember now.."
