199.Assault

After talking to his father, Hyunjin called Yeji.

"Hyunjin is it you?" Yeji asked.

"Ya it's me." Hyunjin said.

Yeji gasped and said, "Where the hell are you? Why didn't you call me earlier? You know how scared I was. I-"

"I am sorry baby. There was a sudden change in the plan so I had to fly to US. Everything happened so fast that I did not get time to inform you. I am sorry." Hyunjin said.

Yeji sobbed for a while and said, "I was scared I thought- I thought that I lost you."

Hyunjin's heart ached when he heard her sobs, "Yeji please don't cry. I am sorry. Please honey stop crying. I am okay wait I'll video call you."

"Wait." Yeji said.

"What happened?" Hyunjin asked.

"Don't video call me tonight. I am not in a very good state." Yeji said.

"Why?"

"My eyes are swollen and my hair is also messy. I cannot let you see me like this. What if I scare you away?"

Hyunjin chuckled and said, "Silly. Why are you feeling shy? I am your boyfriend okay. It's my right to see my girlfriend in her most miserable state. And what scare away? I am not going anywhere okay. Even if you push me away from you, I'll hug you tight and never let you go."

Yeji did not say anything. She wanted to tell him what Jimin had asked her to do but chose not to. She decided to talk to him once he comes back, "Okay you go to the hotel and rest."

Hyunjin frowned and asked, "Yeji is something wrong?"

"No it's nothing." Yeji said.

"Okay then I am hanging up. I'll call you after sometime. I love you." Hyunjin said.

Yeji smiled and said, "I love you too."

Next morning.

The first thing Lisa did early in the morning after getting up was to try calling Hyunjin again but as soon as she picked up her phone from the table, Jungkook snatched it away and said, "First freshen up and eat your breakfast after that you'll get your phone."

Lisa frowned and said, "But I want to call Hyunjin."

"Father had called me early in the morning. He said that Hyunjin had called him yesterday. He is in US now. There was a sudden change in the agenda of the meeting so he had fly to US all of a sudden. So he did not get time to inform anyone. He did not call you yesterday because it was late. He will call you today." Jungkook said before shoving her phone inside his pocket.

"Thank God!" Lisa exclaimed.

Grabbing her hand, Jungkook said, "Lets go down and eat something."

"You don't have to go to office?" Lisa asked.

Jungkook sighed and said, "Yes I have to."

"Something important?" Lisa asked.

"I have an important meeting today. Why?" Jungkook asked.

Scratching her head, Lisa said, "I wanted to shop today. I wanted you to accompany me but it's fine. I'll take Jisoo or Rosé with me."

Jungkook frowned and said, "Why will you take them? I will accompany you. Just wait for me Okay. I'll pick you up after my meeting ends."

"If you are busy then it's fine. We can go some other day." Lisa said.

Jungkook shook his head and said, "Since you want to go today, we will go today itself."

Lisa sighed and said, "Okay. Let's do something, I'll come to your office and then we can go together."

Jungkook nodded his head and said, "Okay."

Downstairs.

When Jungkook and Lisa came down, everyone was having their breakfast.

"Good morning everyone." Lisa said.

Mother Jeon smiled and asked, "How are you feeling today?"

Lisa smiled and said, "Much better mother."

"That's great dear. Now don't take any stress. Your father had called me today. He told me that Hyunjin is fine." Mother Jeon said.

Lisa sighed and said, "Ya Jungkook told me that he is in US."

"Sit down and then talk." Jungkook said before pulling a chair for his wife.

Shoving a bread inside his mouth, Taehyung got up and said, "Alright guys I am off."

"Dad wait for me." Ben said grabbing a cookie in his hand.

Taehyung smiled and said, "Alright Ben first eat properly. Why are rushing? School is going to run away."

"But if Ben will be late teacher will scold me." Ben said.

Taehyung frowned and asked, "The teacher scolds you? Don't worry I'll talk to your principal today and then-"

"Taehyung don't spoil him like that." Jennie said.

"What spoil? Someone is assaulting our son. Do you understand?" Taehyung said.

"Scolding is not assaulting and-"

"Taehyung is right Jennie. Nobody dares to bully a Jeon. Our Ben is such an obedient boy. How can that teacher scold him?" Jungkook said while pouring some soup for Lisa.

"Big Brother is right. I'll deal with that teacher today." Taehyung said.

Jungkook sighed and said, "If you don't, I will."

Lisa slapped Jungkook's hand and said, "Both of you stop acting like this in front of Ben. You are teaching him all your bad habits."

"Honey we are protecting Ben. How is that a bad habit?" Jungkook asked.

Lisa rolled his eyes and said, "It is wrong Jungkook."

Jungkook sighed and said, "Fine I am sorry."

Passing Ben's bag to Taehyung, Jennie said, "Don't do anything rubbish in the school otherwise I'll throw you out of the house."

Taehyung gulped and nodded his head.

Jin chuckled and said, "The Jeon brothers are doomed."

Just then Jisoo came out of her room, fiddling with some documents in her hand.

"Jisoo come and eat." Mother Jeon said.

Jisoo shook her head and said, "No yamyam I have to leave. I have to report in the hospital at 10. It's already 9:30 if I don't leave now, I'll be late."

"Hospital? Which hospital?l" Mother Jeon asked.

"Imperial hospital." Jisoo said.

Jin raised his eyebrows.

"Jin is also from that hospital." Mother Jeon said.

"Oh."

"Let Jin drop you then." Jungkook said.

Jisoo shook her head and said, "No it's fine, I'll just take a cab."

"Jin is going to hospital I suppose?" Jungkook asked.

Jin nodded his head.

"You both are going to the same place then why not go together?" Mother Jeon said.

"It's fine Yamyam I'll go myself. Bye everyone. I'll see in the evening." After bidding farewell to everyone, Jisoo left.

Soon after Jisoo left, Jin grabbed his coat and rushed outside.
