Chapter 10: Rouge?

(Shadow, worried for amy as he to has not seen her in a while teleports into her room to find that she has disappeared.)

Shadow: He sighs to himself in relief but can't help but feel a bit worried as to where she could be and if she was alright. "She must be with that blue hedgehog." He closes his eyes and sighs again, a sad expression playing on his face at the thought of her being with sonic. "So long as she's away from this-" his thoughts are interrupted.

Elric: "What was with that sigh just now, hm?"

Shadow: Shadow jumps out of the way as Elric drops from the ceiling and lands on the floor with ease before turning to look at shadow with a smile. "What?!" He thought in surprise.

Elric: "I bet you didn't expect to see me so soon now did you?" He looks around the room and frowns, looking back at shadow. "So... that rose decided to escape after all. I should've excepted as much. No worries, I have some of my best trackers out looking for her as we speak. They'll find her without fail so you need not worry my friend." He passes by shadow and stops halfway, placing a hand on his shoulder and takes a backwards glance at shadow and glares suspiciously. "You wouldn't happen to have any idea of where she could would be do you?"

Shadow: He can feel Elric's hand clenching his shoulder slightly. He closes his eyes. "He must suspect me." He thought. He opens his eyes again and looks Elric in the eye. "No. I haven't the foggiest idea where she could be my lord."

Elric: "Hmph..." He releases his grip on shadow's shoulder and turns away, just as he is about to leave he stops in the doorway. "Should anything come to mind, please do come to me. I trust you wouldn't keep things from me... RIGHT?"

Shadow: He turns and bows to Elric. "I wouldn't dare deceive you."

Elric: He smiles. "Hmm... Excellent!" He turns to shadow and waves. "Ego te videro tunc!" (I'll be seeing you then.)

Shadow: "Ita. cura, domine mi." (Yes. take care, my lord.) He watches as Elric leaves before turning to leave as well. "I must find her before his trackers do! And I have a few places in mind." He thought as he dispersed into a swarm of bats and flies out the bedroom window.

(Back at club rouge. Rouge has just closed the club and makes her way to her room. Once in her room she plops down onto her bed and sighs...)

Rouge: " What a day. I'm so beat." She yawns. "And so tired. I was planning on snagging that pretty little diamond at the meusem earlier today but..." she yawns again as she begins to drift off to sleep. Just then the lights in her room turn off. Just as she is about to nod off a knock on her balcony door startles her awake. She quickly sits up in bed and looks over at the sliding door before getting up quietly and moving over to it, preparing to attack whoever it was. Just as she slides open the door, a figure rushes in. "Hah!" She grunts as she knocks the figure over the head with a strong kick only to have her legs grabbed in the process, preventing her from fighting back. "Hey! Let go of me!" She demands as she struggles to get free.

Timber wolf: "Now, now. Let's just relax." He grabs hold of her arms and pins her to the bed. He looks her in the eyes and places her into a deep trance. Once she has stopped fighting back he smirks. "That's better." He lets her go and notices a picture on her nightstand. He takes it and looks at it, it's a picture of rouge teasing knuckles in the background and amy posing for the camera and smiling. "Now then... Tell me where that pink hedgehog is." He commands, showing rouge the picture and pointing to amy.

Rouge: "She's... I don't know where she is right now. She left with a blue hedgehog awhile ago tonight and hasn't come back. That's all i know." She answers.
