Chapter 5: The Lost Child

(At Club Rouge. It's finaly closing hours at the club)

Rouge: "see-ya boys!" She says as she winks at the last remaing guys that were leaving out the door*

All: Blush as they drunkenly wave back at rouge with dumb smiles on their faces "See-ya."

Cougar: "Ack! HEY! You threw up on Me!"

Bear: "Oh, sor..ry..-BLEGH!"

Cougar: "Aaaaah!"

Rouge: "...Gross.... I'm gonna pretend that I didn't see that." Closes the door and locks it. "Phew, anyway! what a night!" She says with a smile and a stretch* "I didn't expect that many guys tonight. It's paying off everything at least, so I'm not complaining." She says with a shrug then takes the elevator upstairs to her room. As she opens the door she is suddenly hugged by a familiar pink hedgehog. "A-amy?!" She gasps, covering her mouth as her eyes widen in horror after seeing the bruises on Amy's wrists and the blood stained bite marks on her neck and shoulder. "What the mobius happened?!"

Amy: She keeps her head down. "I'm sorry for barging in unannounced like this... I just needed somewhere to stay for awhile is all and I'll figure out what to do next from there..." She says forcing a smile.

Rouge: She leads Amy into her room and shuts the door. She seats Amy on her bed and sits next to her with worry in her eyes as she holds Amy's hands which were shaking.

(Later...)

Rouge: She lets go of amy, placing her hands on Amy's arms, and looks at her. "You don't have to talk about it if you don't want to. But the least I could do is have someone i know to come take you to the hospital to have your injuries treated..." She says as she scrolls through her contacts.

Amy: "...." keep her head down.

Rouge: "Where's your cell?" She asks.

Amy: "I... I think I might have dropped it somewhere outside when i was coming here..." she says.

Rouge: "Ah, gotcha... Well, I can't exactly fly you to the hospital because I had sprained my right wing recently because of some hot headed echidna, but I could always call shadow to come ge-" she stops when she notices Amy trembling. "Amy? What's the ma-" Before she could finish amy rushes to the bathroom and locks the door. "Amy? Amy?! Please tell me whats wrong!" She pleads through the door but to no avail. "Look, you know that you could tell me anything right?... So please... open up, k?" She pleads with a hand on the door.

(Amy slowly and hesitantly opens the door and is greeted with a tight hug from rouge. Amy couldn't hold back her tears anymore and begins to cry as she hugs rouge back. Rouge let's Amy get it all out until she feels better)

Amy: "Please... don't..."

Rouge: "What?"

Amy: "Don't call sh...shadow.." faints.

Rouge: "Amy? Amy?! What the mobius could have happened to her?" She thought, worried for her friend. Just then Rouge's phone began to ring.

Knuckles: "Why hasn't she come out yet? I'm locked out too. Is she still cross with me after I accidentally sprained her wing? Ugh... women." He thought. Just then rouge answered. Oh! Hey, rouge... um listen... I wanted to say that I'm... s-so... rry. Ehem... i wanted to apologize about the, um... the wing. " he blushes.

Rouge: "Knuckles!" She shouts in a panicked tone.

Knuckles: "R-rouge?! Is everything alright? Calm down. Now tell me what's going on."
