As Angelica and I finished our ice cream, I could hear faint footsteps from behind us. I may not have sharp hearing like mi amor, but I had this feeling that it was her and I didn't have to turn around. Angelica however, did turn around and greeted not only Dolores, but Camilo and Antonio too. I got up and kissed Dolores for a quick minute then later greeting her brothers.
"Well now that your here," Angelica started. "Camilo, let's go pull some pranks."
Those two ran away and went to do god knows what. Antonio went to play with Carlos and Ana while Dolores and I began talking.
"I loved your mom's cooking." Dolores smiled. "And thank you for cleaning up the plate I broke."
"No problem amor. Im just glad you're okay."
We continued talking about how grateful we are for each other. Her soft, soothing voice was able to melt me down like the delicious ice cream I had. She had me in her grasp and I'm happy she does.
"Oh, which reminds me," I noted. "It's almost your birthday, right?"
Dolores gave me a big, tight hug.
"Aw, querida, you remembered."
"Yeah. It was when we first met. I asked when your birthday and from then on, I started planning for it."
I planned on having the biggest party for her birthday. I'm gonna try to bring the whole town in on this. Her birthday will be a day to remember for years. I'll personally will make her a birthday dress, even though it would be nice to see her in her birthday suit, if you catch my drift.
After continuous talking, the evening approached and the little ones were tired. Dolores insisted we go back to her place and relax. Heading there, I could feel Dolores' hand slowly grabbing mine and the warmth of her hand made me focus only on her.
Her beautiful caramel brown complexion, her gorgeous, plump, soft lips, her mesmerizing dark coffee brown eyes. Everything about her was perfect in any and every way. Just thinking about her made me tremble before, but know, walking beside her and holding hands, it made me feel like the luckiest person in the world.
I would do anything for my love.
