It had certainly been a while since I was back in school. The familiar chatting of students before class, shifting desks and screeches of chalk on a dusty green board had been so nostalgic to me over the past couple of days.

And as always,

As I was scribbling down notes for English, I look across from me hesitantly to see the back of a libero's spiky haired head.

Some things still managed to stay the same.

I gave a discreet smile and continued back to my work.

To me, being in love with him now, I almost couldn't imagine myself being in the same state of dislike as I was beforehand, when we first met. It was practically impossible for me to see the same second year who forced me to switch seats with him as the boy I fell in love with- but, this feeling really does work in so many different ways and situations.

The only thing that has apparently changed, is the fact all of these cliché thoughts have been distracting me from schoolwork. My grade is dropping a bit below average in English anyways, so now's not the time to be thinking about Yū-kun.

Although, it was harder than anticipated to get him off my mind.

I leaned the palm of my hand into my cheek as I twirled a pencil between my thumb and index finger aimlessly.

I wonder what he's doing for lunch. Maybe going out with Tanaka-san? Or, is he going to the roof with a few other friends.. When it's nice out, they usually gather up there.

But, Amari-san and I gathered there for a week straight. And I believe she's going out today to a family friend's restaurant for lunch... So, does that leave me alone?

I turned my head towards the window, mockingly shining with bright, clear rays of sunlight peeking through small cracks in the opening. The mildly cloudy blue sky seemed to go on forever amidst the rays penetrating the white sheets.

Well. It was a nice day after all.

I huff frustratedly and return to attempting English once again. Distraction had been easier to attain thanks to both all of the thoughts running through my head and Yū-kun- rather, ABOUT him.

I brushed the thoughts aside for now, and fixated my pencil once again, but before I knew it tons of students were hastily packing their belongings and idly talking with one another.

My eyes widened in shock as the teacher started to do the same. Yet again, another lesson missed because of distraction.

I scolded myself in my head as I reluctantly got up from my seat and flung my bag around my shoulder.

"Kameko-chan! Where are you goin'?"

A lively voice inquired as I looked up from playing with the strap over my shoulder. My eyes meet with cheerful hazel ones, a big white patch decorating the skin beneath it. My smile faded a bit upon seeing it.

"Ah, I don't know yet. I might stay indoors."

I commented back and wistfully gazed at the scenery outside once more. After all, what was the point of enjoying nice weather if you couldn't enjoy it with anyone?

Unless....

"Don't stay indoors! Look at today, it's great! How about you come out with me?"

He impishly smiled and offered nonchalantly. His eyebrows moved up along with the cheeky grin- a bandage above it crinkling with the action.

"Well, if you want me to..."

I fixated my glasses to cover my blushing face as the libero giddily gathered his school items. Was... He okay? After what happened a few days ago... Could he really go back to being this way so quickly?
