Yū-kun,

It's been a while since I've written to you like this. I never expected I would in the first place, but things do really come back around.

The hospital's treating me well, as usual. Of course, it's dull without you here to visit, but I'll manage just by the thought of you and the kids anyways. It's same-old-same-old, doctors checking in now and then for blood work and various signs of injury.

Unfortunately, anemia's still present with me, such as beforehand in the first visit. The doctors say mild Alzheimer's is down the road when I'm older, but that won't be much of a problem just yet.

They say I'm fine for now and that you guys don't have to worry about me for a while. As of when I'm discharged now, that's another story for when you return with the others.

Speaking of which, when you write back, I want you to tell me all about the game with Miyu and Shuzo. I'm excited that they get to see Hinata-kun and Kageyama-kun play on the first string in their official game- maybe it'll inspire them, too.

Well, it's not like you already had that planned out anyways. Shuzo already had a few scratches when you both were playing volleyball outside that one rainy Saturday morning- and how I warned you both, but like father like son, I suppose.

Oh, and Yumiko called up. After she visits me, she'll take the kids home at
the diner after the game. So, you can stay back and chat with Kageyama and Hinata-kun after the game. Tell me all about that, too! Don't forget autographs for the little ones, as well.

I already touched up on their baths, bedtimes and such when you visited, so hopefully I can trust you with that much.

The only thing keeping me busy in this hospital is with the worry I have for the three of you. Of course, that's where Yumiko comes in to save the day from your parenting skills.

That's all for today, Yū-kun. I'll see you once again later, maybe Sunday perhaps. Hopefully I'll be out of here by then, so I'll be able to be with everyone soon.

As always, and forever,

I love you.

Sincerely,
Nishinoya Kameko.

I sigh in content as I lay the pencil flat within the small notebook pad, closing it and putting it on the desk nearby the bed.

Idly, I turn my head back around to the window on the opposite side- pouring with various shades of oranges, yellows, purples and blues all mixed together in harmony.

My eyes roam to the picture frame beneath it, a sentimental feeling filling my chest when I gaze at the two smiling children within the glass barrier.

The park where we both met!

I remember that offer as clear as day, ringing soundly in my ears. The laughter and smiles when both Shizuo and Miyu ran around the area- not quite bringing out my own childhood memories, but welling up with enough melancholy at how much time seemed to past between both Yū-kun and I.

But,

I slowly pick up my hand from the soft cushion of the bed, holding up the backside in pride- with a special jewel decorating the ring finger.

The warm colors of the sunset decorate the shining stone in all the right places, not failing to bring out its true, shimmering beauty.

A ring.

The park where our relationship bloomed as another memory flashes through my mind.

A sunset such as this one. Interlocked hands, and tangled fingers. Yū-kun's seriously hazel eyes, beautifully adorned with the orangey colors beneath them. The feeling of cold metal on my finger, while Yū-kun was pressed down on one knee.
