Enjoy!

The Queen herself tended to her guests, as they lounged in her quarters. Her brilliant silver hair danced about her as she glided across the large chamber. She gestured for her guests to follow as she sat in the luxurious sitting area reserved for her private guests.

Loki cautiously accepted her hospitality, practically dragging his princess along, hoping to draw over the previous incident in the garden. They sat at a large square table made of glittering marble, the Queen at the head, Loki to her right and Sera to her left.

"This passageway should suffice for your little trip." The queen waved her hand and the large bookcase behind her at the far end of the chamber moved against the wall, revealing a hidden staircase descending into a fairly lit cave. "It leads to the Enchanted Forest; your destination I presume?"

"Correct." Loki nodded carefully, for the Queen seemed too helpful for a monarch discovering her guests trying to sneak out of her palace in the middle of the night. He glanced at Sera whom he noticed kept her eyes glued to the passageway.

"We appreciate your assistance, Your Majesty." He added, hoping to break the heavy tension looming as Sera sighed, still not facing the Queen while placing her glass down on the white marble table in front of her. The Queen nodded, downed her third drink and smiled.

"I suspect you haven't much time, though." She flicked her wrist and a wooden box tucked away at the far end of her chambers emerged, presenting itself to the princess. "Here." The box opened, revealing two daggers. "These should be of assistance."

Sera stared at the daggers for what seemed like an eternity. Loki watched as she traced the delicately carved handles before suddenly pulling away her hand as if stung by the metal. She quickly looked up to the Queen.

"I—Thank you, but I can not accept–"

"Do you not like them?" The Queen interrupted her unusual stutter.

"Aelsa, please. You know I cannot take them." Sera breathed, pushing the box away.

"You can and you will, my princess." The Queen rose from her seat, clutched the box, cleared Sera's glass away, and sat on the marble table herself before presenting the box to the princess again. "I had them made for you back when—well, before everything . They're yours."

Sera stared at the box again, pointedly avoiding the Queen's intense gaze while the prince watched them in utter shock.

"You certainly are in need of a weapon; are you not? How else will you fetch that hidden armour of yours?"

Few things could slip past Loki and even fewer people in the— now —eight realms he could not read. It is a rarity when both meet. Yet, here he was, finding himself utterly dumbfounded as he watched the women sitting across from him.
