Did she just say she was the princess of the western rebellion, that is crazy, why would she be so far to the south?

Panaria is devised into five (kinda five) territories which are all based on a directions of a compass. You have the Southern lands (which is where I am right now), the Western lands, the Northern lands, the Eastern lands, and the Central lands. Each land is ruled by one person, they are titled Heralds. All the Heralds are ruled by the King, whom lives in his own territory between where the Eastern and Southern land's borders meet. There is only one large city in the middle of the King's land called Highcastle. It is a lovely place for the rich. If a lovely place involves somewhere you can piss, drink, and whore your way to an early grave. It is where the poor seek opportunities and the rich go to drink themselves to death. Pointless really.

However, the Western lands has been divided for a number of years now. Long ago, probably over two hundred years ago, house Ravin didn't like how the Western lands were being ruled, the Herald was cruel to his people and the King did nothing to stop him so, one man by the name of Joran Ravin, lead a rebellion against Herald Leaor Germon of the Western lands. Joran eventually split the lands into two territories, he built a wall that spanned across the top left corner of the Panarian map. Going from the edge of all his territory and isolated himself and his men, then named himself, and his family, the rightful owners of the crown and the throne. Since then, there have been two more Kings of the West, Thadous Ravin and Mercer Ravin.

Now, I am standing in the presences of Delli Ravin, the daughter of the Western King. Honestly, I could give a shit who was sitting on the throne, as long as it doesn't affect my peasant lifestyle, I am fine. But seriously, why was she this far south? Solica is far from the Western Rebellion. "So, why are you here? What are those documents you are carrying?" I ask curiously, it is quite odd to say the least.

"I cannot tell you, stranger. You still haven't told me your full name." She said with the hint of annoyance, she obviously knows I am lost in thought and inquires about her presence.

"Well, formal introductions then. My name is Eben, of house Teivia." i said, proud as can be.

"House Teivia? Never head of you, which honestly, is a good thing for you. It means your not on my kill list." She said, as if that was meant to reassure me. It didn't really. "Okay Eben. The problem is that if i told you what the documents were, I'd have to kill you." i think the worse part about that sentence was the small smile on her face. I am pretty sure she is deranged.
"You know, you're a fireweilder. You can come and join my father's army."

A sudden look of shock and confusion spread across my face. "Your father's army? The rebellion? That would be treason and.. and-- you don't even know who I am."

"Well, I know your a fireweilder named Eben. I know your part of house Teivia which I have never heard of, which means you are simply a peasant who happens to have a gift, a special one. One that the current king would rather squander than embrace. But my father fights against the king for equality and justice among the elementals and mortals. He wants peace and prosperity between the two sides. That is why this war has begun. So please, come with me, meet my father, possibly join our inquisition and help  with our mission."

I paused, was this the mission of the 'rightful king'? If so, would it be best if I joined them? What about my father, how will he survive?
"Can I take some time to think?" I asked, wanting to say yes to this seemingly noble cause, but worried what would happen if I went with this mysteryous girl.

"Well.. I am leaving with my scouting squad tomorrow. We will be at our camp until the sun is fully risen. That is when we will start ride for the west. I hope you will be there to ride with us."

And with that, she turned and left, without another word. I have so much to think about. I still need to get the groceries from the market. I'll head there and then go home to think about what the hell just happened.
