The sun is almost above the horizon and I haven't made a decision as of yet. Her family seems to have such a good cause but I don't wanna just go with a girl who claims to be the daughter of a rebel leader. I don't even know if she is really whom she says she is! I kind of like my present lifestyle, why change?

But she said I was special. Maybe I can make a difference in this shitty world and actually prove to everyone I am not just a waste of space. I have always felt like I am not living up to my full potential, like I have something more and I have never known the origin of this feeling nor what that 'full potential' is.

Screw it, what do I really have to lose by staying in this dump.

I get a piece of paper and a quil to write a letter to my father.

"Dear Father,

I am sorry, but I must go. I have been called to the Western Rebellion and I must go, it is my duty as someone with a special power such as the one I have.

Sincerely,

your son Eben"

I start to smell the scent of warm meats at firewood. I can see the tops of some tents and the smoke of fire on the top of a hill. That must be them, whom else would be out here at this time of the morning?

I reach the top of the hill and see three girls and two guys packing their things onto some horses and preparing to leave. I can see them all looking at me. Of course my eyes lock with Delli's. A small smile spreads across her face, as if she was pleasantly surprised to see my presents. If I am being honest, she does have a beautiful smile- Of course I am not attractive to her in anyway!!

I take a deep breathe and swallow all my fears before saying, "Hello, I am here to join the Rebellion".
