After the kiss, I gave her the ring; she loved it. Then, we had a night of lovely passion, which I'd rather not share with you at this moment. However, just know there wasn't just kissing involved.
But that was a week ago. It is time to suit up and march out.

After a long trek, we finally made it into the King's Land. Team D and I are waiting in the sewers for team A and B to start their raid. The sewage smells of shite. But what could I expect; it is a sewage.

A good couple hours past until Delli told us to start moving because she had heard screaming. She is the one who knows the sewers for Highcastle better than anyone. If it weren't for her, we'd certainly get lost.

"Up here," she whispers as she opens a grate leading to street level.

We all climb up and sneak from building to building. There is no way of knowing which building the king would hide in; so we are going to have to check as many main buildings as we can. We are going to start with the main castle and examine from there. The team and I go in through the windows so we wont arouse any suspicion.

I make a hand motion to the rest of the team; signaling to move into the next room. Nothing. We move on to the following room. There is a man gathering his things; or stealing them.

Mercer snuck up behind him and slit his throat. Blood sprays all over whatever he was carrying as the possessions fall to the floor. We move on to the next room. I peek in and see the king; grabbing a suite case filling it with as much stuff as he can. He turns his back, so I take the opportunity. I slowly crept up to where he was standing, as quickly, but as quietly as I dare.

Just then, I hear a muffled scream from behind me. As if someone's mouth was covered but they tried to cry for help. Suddenly, the noise was shut silenced and the only sound I could hear was liquid being spilled unto the floor. I turn to look behind myself to see Howton dead in the arms of a guard. Delli, Quiro and Kale were all being held by three other goons. But Mercer was standing up, he wasn't muffled at all. He started a mocking walk toward me so I blast a handful of flames at him; which sends him flying back and he hits the wall across the room.

"Enough!" yells the king from behind me. "You will not do that again or your friends will face oblivion. Now, drop your weapon."

I let go of the blade that was in my right hand and put my hands up. The erie silence is only broken by the sound of steel agaist stone. But then, I hear Delli struggling and trying to yell as loud as she can behind the man's hand. She is probably screeching at me; telling me not to do anything stupid, but, what do I know?

"Good. Mercer, get up." Just then Mercer stands up and grabs my hair and puts my hands together behind my back. The king paces in front of me.
"You were going to try and kill me?" he scoffs.
He is built very puny, but from what I hear, he is quite powerful. "Aren't you going to answer me boy?"

"Go to hell." I say, formulating a plan of escape in my head.

"Well that is not very nice. You are just like your father."

A look of shock filled my face, I could feel it. "You seemed surprised. Mercer gave me all your family's details. It wasn't to hard to figure out where your father lives. Well... I say lives, but I should really say lived."

"You bastard!" My arms catch flame and Mercer stumbles back.

The king picks up the dagger that I had dropped before and lunges for me. I push him back with a fiery blow. Suddenly, there is a searing pain in my stomach.

And just then, I realized. The dagger had pierced my stomach. The pain shot through me instantaneously and I felt it all. From my head to my toes.

Then I collapsed.
