When we got home, I told Jake that I would be right back. It turns out that I have ALL of my classes with him. Yipee!!! I walked straight to Mum's office. She wasn't there. That's odd. I thought, She's always in her office. I walked around her office just to make sure she's not pulling my leg. I sighed and walked back to where Jake was standing.
He was talking to my mum. Wow. I walked up to mum and crossed my arms, "Aren't you supposed to be in your office?" She gasped, "Oh my, you're right. I was just going to the loo and when I was walking back I got distracted." That's my mum for you. The leader of a high class agency who got distracted after coming back from the loo. "Well, you better get going," I said with a hint of annoyance.
I am honestly very anxious to get another mission I haven't had one in three days. Three blasted days!! She nodded and walked back to her office. Jake looked at me confused, " What was that about?" "I haven't gotten a mission for a while, so I'm a bit anxious and annoyed that my mum, the leader of a high class agency, got distracted coming back from the loo. I mean she has a blasted loo in her blasted office!" I let out all in one breath. Jake laughs, "Is it that bad?" I nodded, slightly pouting. He sigh with a smile on his face, "C'mere." He reached out and pulled me into an embrace. I was a bit shocked at first, but hugged him back. He pulled away and asked, "Better?" I nodded.
We headed to my room to do homework, but I was too lazy to even open my backpack. I jumped on my bed, landing face-down into a blue pillow. "I want ice cream!" I complained into the comfty pillow. "Then let's go get some," Jake said like it was the most obvious thing in the world. I looked at him as if he had grown 2 heads, "Mum doesn't let us go outside, remember?"
Jake looked at me confused, but then realization hit his face, "Oh." His face lit up, "Why don't we just ask?" I thought the idea was stupid, but since I had nothing better to do, I shrugged my shoulders and nodded. "Let's go," he said, standing up. I groaned. I realized that the pillow was better than asking my mum a pointless question so I just ignored Jake's command.
I was enjoying my silence, until I felt strong hands grip my waist and pull me up. I squirmed and wriggled, but couldn't get out of Jake's firm grasp. He put me down on the floor and turned me around, placing his hands on my shoulders, "Will you go now?" I punched him in the arm and glared at him, "Since you interrupted my beauty sleep, I guess I have to." he smiled, "You don't need it." My face turned crimson, "uh, thanks?" He blushed too, "You heard that?" I nodded. If I talked, I probably would've busrt out laughing. "well, let's go," he said trying to change the subject. I nodded again, and off we went to Mum's office, obviously holding hands.
Sorry for the short chapter, What can I say, I'M LAZY AND I LOVE UNICORNS? Well I do but that's not the point. The point is that I'm lazy and will write more chapters later. But right now, I am going to blow bubbles with my pet unicorn, BUBBLES! STOP EATING THE BUBBLES! YOU WILL DIE LIKE FLUFFY DID!!! NO, JUST BECAUSE YOUR NAME IS BUBBLES, DOESN'T MEAN YOU CAN EAT THEM. Well, I should go. By the way, the pic is Victoria's mom and the baby is Victoria!
