"I — I spoke to Vickie today." Robin informed, "She — she told me that her boyfriend and her broke it off. 'Cause he couldn't take staying in a place like Hawkins or something."
"Um. But, she's — she's like me! Not the — well, I don't know about the gay part but she like rambles a lot and I ramble a lot so — but, we had an amazing conversation while we were at the school." Robin rambled on, seemingly feeling as if Y/n was actually listening to her — she hoped she was.
Robin just wanted to feel as if everything was fine and she wasn't talking to her comatose best friend.
"Should've seen her — a blushing mess." Steve teasingly added in, earning a slap to his arm and a glare from the girl beside him.
"Well, Eddie's doing alright — annoying but that's just how you know he's all good." Steve told Y/n, "He's unfortunately still wanted for mur—"
Robin and Steve heads whipped around at the hospital window — loud Thunder rumbling. Steve and Robin glanced at one another before quickly getting up and walking towards the window.
"What the hell." Steve mumbled out, seeing snow like particles falling from the sky — the world becoming dim and eery.
"Steve." Robin called, looking at the boy beside her. "Yeah?" Steve questioned, eyes still trained outside of the window.
"Nancy was right." Robin stated, "This isn't going to end any sooner."
Steve narrowed his brows, chest becoming heavy at his best friends words.
"Son of a bitch." Steve mumbled out, sighing heavily.
