Mitchika starred at her crush, Yotag. This might be the last time she'll ever like, see him. She wanted to cry, SHE LOVED HIM!!!!!!!! But she didn't want to seem like a baby, so she played off her true depressing feelings off.
Getting off the top of the car, Yotag stated, "So... this is where we split up Mitchika?"
"I guess," Mitchika said, sounding more sad than she tried to, "Look Yotag, I am like so sorry for everything, it's just-"
"Tell me when you get back. We can have a talk when you return. Until then, you need to hurry. It's already 6:40... oh wait, we're making good time."
"Well I want to apologize now then!-"
"Nah, let's do it when you come back. Think of it like motivation," Yotag said, over dramatically.
"Oh fuck that dramatic bullshit. I'm apologizing now since I could fucking die there. I'm sorry for getting mad at you for speeding and how you sent me to go save Makori. I-"
"Mitchika, I'm not mad, I-"
"OH CAN YOU STOP INTERRUPTING ME! LET ME SAY WHAT I'M TRYING SAY!," Mitchika almost yelled
"Sorry, sorry," Yotag said, backing off
"Okay! What I was saying is sorry for getting mad! It was probably due to all the stress I was feeling seeing as we were going so fast! But I apologize for getting mad at you for speeding so fast and pushing me to save Makori. I know you were just doing that to so save Me, Makori, yourself, and your siblings."
"I know, and I accept your apology. Personally, I'm not that mad. I know it was nothing personal, just other issues," Yotag replied, happily.
"What do you mean by other issues," Mitchika asked, suspiciously.
"Oh like... the speeding. I can tell it was stressing you out due to how much you were screaming.
"No kidding it was stressing me out. I know why you were doing that but jeez, that was extremely dangerous. One wrong turn of the wheel and we both would have been like dead."
"Kinda surprised a bad bitch like you got so worried," Yotag joked.
"Well it would worried anyone, baka!," she said while blushing.
"I know, I know. But believe me, you will face a lot more danger in Tawa City. I'm sorry for sending you out there, I'd like to myself but I can't due to my siblings and I don't really trust them with anyone else."
"Oh don't worry, you're like fine. I shouldn't have gotten mad at you like that, again, I'm totes sorry."
"It's fine! But be sure to stay safe in Tawa City, I don't know too much about it but my friend does. She can explain it to you when you're there," Yotag said casually, but the, his ace changed to be more serious, "Mitchika, before you go, remember to stay extremely alert, keep your hacking gun on you at all times, trust your gut instincts, and do not by any means do anything that does not revolve around the plan. My friend is extremely smart and I trust her to help you, listen. If you don't, you could die and Makori could too and that's something no one wants. I really care for you two and I just want you both to stay safe."
Mitchika felt flustered, Yotag wanted her to stay safe... oh she was so happy. "I know, I'll make sure to listen to what you said and whatever your... friend... said. Per say, who is she?", Mitchika then proceeded to feel anger at the thought that it was a girl. But then, she felt confusion. "Wait why are you sending the both us? Couldn't your friend just go?"
"My friend's going for other reason's than Makori. She got a strange message the other day saying to come to Tawa City from the Kisaragi Foundation. It said something bad, something super fucking bad was happening and there, they could find the coordinates of Kisaragi Island. This happened to be coincidentally yesterday. So we thought it'd make the most sense to send the both of you to help each other. She can now drive around in random cars while you can defend her in case an Ultimate Despair attacks."
"Okay, I guess that makes sense but who is this friend I'm going with?," Yotag then pulled out a photo and in shock, Mitchika screamed her name, "WEEBY?"
"Oh you know her?"
"OF COURSE I DO! THAT WAS MITCH'S GIRLFRIEND before he..."
"She didn't mention you, were you good friends? I didn't actually hear you talk about her?," Yotag asked confused.
"Yeah, I just knew about her. We didn't talk a lot but she seemed cool. A bit of a tsundere to Mitch though.
"Oh really? I met her after the tragedy. I was hunting in the woods one day and found her old bunker. It was pretty small so she built a new one, farther out. But anyways wee got to talking and became friends. She never mentioned you or Mitch though. Wonder why."
"She was in true love with Mitch, it must have been hard to talk about him or his family at all," she said, feeling sad for her.
"Wait, why did she let you go then?," Yotag asked, confused
"Probably needed all the help she could get."
"And she still does Mitchika, I think you should go. It's now... 6:49," Yotag said while looking at his watch, "You still have a bit of extra time but you should hurry, the Remnants of Despair could arrive up there any minute."
"I know but like, I don't want to. I don't want to say goodbye just yet!," Mitchika said, tears forming in her eyes
"You have to eventually and it's better now than later," Yotag then came in and gave Mitchika a hug, "Stay safe, Mitchika, and know that me and my siblings are rooting for you to save Makori!"
"I'll make sure to save her and come back alive," Mitchika hugged back. The hug lasted for a bit but then it eventually ended.
"Well I guess it's your time to leave Mitchika," Yotag said, looking quite sad.
"I guess, I'll leave now. Bye Yotag, stay safe! Care for you!," Mitchika said, grabbing the ladder to climb.
"I will Mitchika, care for you! Bye," and that would be the last thing Mitchika would hear from Yotag until she returned. It felt sad, depressing to leave Mitchika but she had some underlying anger. It felt as if Yotag was gambling her life to save Makori. Weeby seemed incredibly skilled, she could save Makori on her own. Did he just want to risk Mitchika's life to bring the chance of finding Makori even higher while it was already pretty high with just Weeby? And what did he mean he thought she was worried about Makori. She said multiple times that she wasn't and she wasn't. What, did she think she was just lying due to underlying mental health issues. "Whatever," she thought to herself, "You have something more important to deal with, you can worry about that when you return." And with that, Makori opened the lid to enter the above ground road.
