The flight to Brazil was filled with giggles and laughter as I told Leah stories of my childhood.
When the sixth hour hit, Leah was knocked out. By the time we landed the Sun was already going down but in it's place was a beautiful pink and white sunset.
"Baby, look."
Leah pointed enthusiastically at two children walking ahead of us. They were in a matching bear costumes and clutching each other's hands.
I halled a cab quickly and helped the cabie put the bags in the trunk.
"Onde posso levá-lo, senhor?"He asks. ~Where can i take you, sir~
I gave him the address and wrapped my arms around Leah's torso.
"By the way i should probably tell you, i never told my family that we were coming."
Leah looked at me for a second. I watched as the gears turned in her head while the informal processed.
"What?!" She screeches.
"How could you not tell your mother we were coming? What if they're not happy to see us? What if- relax amore, my family will be amazed to see us."
Leah smacked my chest playfully and looked out the window.
"This place is beautiful."
"Yeah it it. I can't wait to show you around." I wink.
The taxi turned down a grassy road and pulled up in front of a beautiful cottage home.
The front of the house was white and red. There was a stairway that lead to the front door and wrapped around to what I assume was to the backyard.
