The plane ride back to Washington was tense. A big comparison to the atmosphere going to Brazil.
I was on pins a needles trying to decide the best course of action in order to find my brother.
I already expected for the pack to be uncooperative and extremely unhelpful. I already knew that things were about to become a lot harder.
Thinking about what Seth might be going through or where he was, slowly killed me inside.
Chris had me bundled in his arms, whispering sweet words into my ears.
A plate of waffles and strawberries was placed in front of us with a fork.
"Please eat something, love. You need your energy" Loretta encouraged.
I shook my head slightly.
"I'm not hungry."
My voice was horse and my head aches. Chris lifted the plate slowly and brought a fork of pancakes towards me.
"Just a couple bites, amor." He pleads. "If you're still not hungry after, I won't force it."
I reluctantly took bite after bite of each fork of pancake that was place in front of me.
Eventually my stomach began to turn so I turned away. Chris leaned down and pressed a kiss against my temple.
"Bom trabalho, meu Amor." He smile. " I know you didn't want to but you need your strength."
As much as i hate to admit it. He's right. Ever since I found out about Seth, I've been neglecting my health. I've been feeling a little weak.
"Thank you, baby." I smile.
"Ladies and gentlemen as approach the Forks Washington, I'd like to invite everyone to buckle up and hold on tight as we make a smooth landing. Thank you for flying air Twilight and enjoy your stay. "
Clipping my belt, I could feel the little trimmers of the plane landing on the stip.
As the plane slowly settled, the door was opened as the rest of the family started leaving the plane.
Chris helped me up and off the plane. There was a care next to the plane with a man up front.
We all piled into the car as the ride to our doom began.
The drive from the airport to La Push was hard. The closer we got the heavier my heart felt and the move my head hurt.
Chris hadn't let go of my hand since we were in Brazil and I can't be my re appreciative because without him, I would crumple into myself.
When the car passed the Welcome to La Push sign, I felt as though everything was in slow motion.
Looking it the window I caught sight of a wolf hidden in the woods, speeding passed us.

"Calm children." Loretta said, softly. "Remember that they have no leverage over us."
The car rocked slightly as it made the slow drive up the Uhley family drive way.
Loretta reached over and gave my thighs a gentle but firm squeeze.
