Time is a funny thing. It can seem slow, or it can fly by and before you know it, you're suddenly rematerialized after turning into a dust mess and half the people around before aren't with you.

I stood quickly, looking around for someone, anyone I know, only hoping I didn't die and land in hell or something. My eyes finally landed on someone with familiar red hair, and relief coursed through me. But most of everyone that was here before were gone.

I stood, looking around. I saw T'Challa, the sentient tree, Sam, and Wanda just as confused as me. "What's happening?" Wanda asked lowly. "What happened?"

"The last thing I remember is us losing to Thanos and turning into ash or some shit." Sam stated, all of us grouping together.

"We are still in Wakanda." The thick accented voice of T'Challa spoke up. "Which means the tribes and warriors are still here. We must go to them."

With that being the only good idea anyone could come up with, we all trekked out of the woods, across the large open acres and into the city of Wakanda. Not much had changed. In the field that was once a war zone, we found other confused Wakandans, most already making their way towards the city.

When we arrived, a wide-eyed Okoye greeted us. "Y-you're back." She breathed. "I didn't believe it, but it really happened. They did it." She quickly pulled her ling into an embrace, something I truly doubt she would have done before the war with Thanos. They pulled away after a moment, emotion clouding seemingly everyone's eyes.

"General, how long has it been?" T'Challa asked. It couldn't have been that long. I mean, Okoye didn't look much older.

"My King... the war against Thanos was five years ago." She answered. I inhaled sharply at the words, clenching my hands into fists. It's been five years...

"Is it all over?" I asked.

"No." Okoye shook her head, "The final battle is soon." She stated, looking at each one of us, "The universe needs our help... they need us. We must be ready... are we?" She looked around for confirmation.

Everybody nodded except me. My hand traveled up to my necklaces, gripping ahold of the Mikaelson crest. "Hope?" Wanda asked, multiple pairs of eyes turning towards me.

I glanced at her and gave a short nod. He murdered billions, tore apart families, and he's going to pay. And this time, I'm going into battle fully charged.
