The Night Is Young

After talking for a bit you noticed your stomach growling. Sam heard it too and laughed saying "damn if you were hungry you could have said something girl". Jake took off to the kitchen, Josh following right behind him. You started to see how much he respected Jake. Just by looking at them you could tell Jake was Josh's world. They were soulmates.

You, Sam, and Danny were still in the living room. "So" asked sam. "So what?" You asked not sure what to say. ''what do you think about... them" pointing at the boys in the kitchen." Oh there um nice" you stated. "Really "nice" that's all you have to say" Samuel said low key angry. " Well I think they're sweet, but jakes intimating and Josh is— your thoughts take you away as you see Josh laughing at Jake in the kitchen. Sam and Danny look at either other and burst out into laughter. You snapped out of whatever trance you were in. "Holy shit man you've got a thing for Josh '' Sam said almost in tears. "Look at her. You do. Don't you?. This is gold man" cried Danny, also almost in tears. "No no no I don't I don't Sam Dan shut up. He will hear you. Shut your stupid faces omg" you said very very concerned and slightly embarrassed. "O M G SHES TURNING RED LOOK LOOK '' Sam literally screamed. Your face was more red than the fucking tomato jake was cutting up in the kitchen. So embarrassing.

The conversation came quickly to a close when out of the blue you heard jake yell. " JOSH ISTG I TOLD YOU TO LEAVE IT ALONE". " WELL FUCK YOU TOO JAKE ITS NOT EVEN A BIG DEAL I WILL PICK IT UP" yelled Josh. "FOR YOUR INFORMATION JOSH IT IS A BIG FUCKING DEAL BECAUSE THATS THE SEASONING I NEEDED FOR THE FUCKING FOOD" yelled Jake even louder than before. The bickering went on for a bit until jake went to swing at Josh and Danny had to step in. "Well now I can't make the food Danny" said Jake, very disappointed. They talked it out and decided to go get take out. So Jake and josh took the Jeep and left. While you and the other two stayed.

"So do you really have the hots for Josh" asked Sam. "He's just cute, that's all. He's low key strange, and doesn't seem like my type. It will pass." You stated. " mmh we'll see about that" Sam said being all cocky.

After everyone was done eating Sam ran to his room and brought back like four bottles of alcohol. Jake got excited and went to his room to grab shot glasses. Josh dashed for the record player to put on a record. You and Danny stayed seated till they came back. You always appreciated Danny. He always made you feel welcome,safe, and a little less alone. As you look around the room to see the chaos you get worried."Um are your parents home?" You asked concerned. "Nah they won't be back till tomorrow don't worry." Sam said.

"Let's get to know each other a bit eh" Jake said while making direct eye contact with you. Jake handed everyone a shot glass. Sam poured the shots. Josh complained that there wasn't enough alcohol in his. Danny telling him to basically stfu. And you just sat there smiling. You actually felt calm. Which was surprising considering how bad your nerves were earlier.

Jake looked around the room making sure everyone had a shot ready to go.
