"I know. There was only a couple of times your mother and I talked once you were gone. She was up late, your step daddy was at work and bell was asleep. So she asked for some tea, I didn't mind. She was half asleep when she started to talk more about anything other then the children or Henry. I think at one point she thought I was Henry, and talked a bit about what happened one of those nights." Hermione said. "That still doesn't tell me what she said, exactly." Draco said, getting looked up at by his little boy.
Phoenix was becoming a sleepy boy, and started to fussy.Draco eased the baby down to lay in his arms, and ease the pacifier into his mouth. After some pats to his bottom, Phoenix was falling asleep, and they continued their conversation softer. "Because she didn't go into any real details, at least nothing we didn't already know. We all know there's more, we just might not learn, not for a while, maybe not at all." Hermione said and Draco let out a sigh. He looked down at his boy, who was falling asleep on his arm. The pacifier was dinosaur and the blanket now around him also was. Draco got lot in a thought, a little pink blanket laying on his lap. Draco smiled. "You going to be a good big brother?" Draco said out loud, but still lost in his day dream. Ron raised an eyebrow at his girlfriend. "Leave him be. It could be is way of handling the baby." Hermione said and he nodded. "I forget sometimes the baby isn't-" Ron started to say. "Maybe that's better. Maybe we can convince him with enough time." She smiled lightly.
Draco soon laid the sleeping baby boy on the floor beside his daddy and nuzzled him in his blanket, before he eased back down in the chair, between the two. Draco yawned, but couldn't yet go to sleep. He had to know what was going on with his mother and his sibling. "Can you see if there is any new information about my mom?" Draco asked. "Yes, I'll see what I can find out, Draco." Hermione said, before getting to her feet.
"I'm sorry to bother you, but it's been hours." Hermione said. "I know, I'm sorry. I'll see what I can find out about them." She said. "Enough waiting! I want to speak to somebody else. She's been here since three am!" Hermione said and after a sigh, the nurse got up form her chair and over to a wall of charts. She grabbed one and opened it, reading over whatever was inside it. "The baby is resting in the nursery. Narcissa is still in recovery, she can't have any visitors until she's been moved." She said. "The baby?" Hermione asked. "Draco can visit the baby, as he is family." She said.
Draco walked until he found the nursery and was greeted by a very friendly nurse. "Hello. Who are you here to see?" She asked. "Narcissa Malfoy's baby. My mama just had her baby I was told." Draco said and she smiled. "Little Sophia Thompson! She's a very healthy little girl at six pounds and nine ounces and 18 inches long." She smiled and walked Draco over to a small crib. She was already dressed in a little pink pretty dress, asleep. Her hair was full of blonde hair and Draco smiled. "Can I hold her?" Draco asked. "Of course!" She said.
Draco stood holding the newborn girl who was fast asleep in his arms, rocking her just very lightly. He felt the tap on his shoulder. "Oh, hey Henry." Draco said. "You can come see your mother, now. I wouldn't of took so long, but your mama lost a bit more blood then they expected. she needed her rest." Henry said. "It's okay, what about the baby?" Draco asked. "You can bring her. I dont want to wake her more then once, and I'm sure she'll be ready for a feeding soon." Henry said. "Alright.""Hi, mama." Draco said, as he eased the newborn girl down in Narcissa arms, who gladly took the little girl into her arms. Sophia yawned, but fussed. She was hungry. Narcissa grabbed the small blanket and laid it over herself. "You looked sleepy, mama." Draco said. "I don't feel the best, no. I'll be okay, though, Draco. Don't worry. How's Harry?" Narcissa asked. Starting to feed her girl. "His doctor is making him get a feeding tube. He isn't real happy about that." Draco pointed out. "Has he really lost that much weight?" Narcissa frowned and Henry nodded. "When the bones started to stick out in his face and neck, I knew. I'll talk to our boss, but I'm sure if he feels up for it, he can still work." Henry said. "I was actually hoping you could talk Harry out of working...at least for a little while." Draco said softly. "He won't like that idea either." Henry said. "I know, but his health is more important then him working, Henry. Can't you just blame your boss or something?" Draco asked. "I will call and ask, okay?" Henry said. "Thank you." Draco said.
Hermione eased a cool rag on Harry's neck, who still laid on the hospital floor. He let out a fuss noise. "Shh. Your starting to get a temperature." Hermione said and Ron ease Harry's arm back down to his side. "Just rest." Ron said and after a couple of more whines, Harry went quiet again. Baby Phoenix whined out. "Shh, daddy needs his rest baby." Hermione said, picking up the sleepy boy. She eased his pacifier back into his mouth, but he fussed out. "Where's the diaper bag? He needs to be changed." Hermione said. "Harry responds better to you, I got the baby." Ron said. "A-are you sure?" She asked. "I am. Hurry, before he wakes Harry." Ron said, getting handed the baby boy."
