Draco slowly walked throughout the snow until he phone a pay phone. Luckily, the men that dropped him off give him change. To call somebody. The only number he knew, was His aunt's. He just hoped somebody there would answer. It was late and the phone ringed forever it seemed before a half asleep Bellatrix answered the phone. "Hello?" She yawned. "...I...don't know...where I am." Draco mumbled. The glass of water she grabbed before she answered the phone, hit the ground, breaking. "Draco!?" She said. "...please...Come fine me..." Draco cried. "Look around, baby. What's close by." She said and Draco slowly looked around. Not much was close by. There was a library. "... Sandpiper Library." Draco whispered. "Stay there, baby." She said.
Draco was exhausted and freezing. When the time was up on the call, he shut the phonebooth completely and eased to sit down.
He didn't want to sleep, but his body was trying to protect itself form the cold, so his eyes shut.
Draco heard the sirens and people talking, but couldn't tell who nor did he recognize any of the voices. Draco knew he wasn't alone and heard somebody say they were an EMT. Somebody that was going to take him to the hospital. He hated they were going to learn what happened to him, but he was so tried. The world went black again.Harry had just laid Phoenix, who was four months old, in the crib. He was asleep. The first week was hell on the baby boy. He wouldn't stop crying, he wanted his daddy, but he never came.
Harry had lost a lot of weight. Harry's treatment was rough and he could hardly yet without vomiting. He had a port in his upper chest, closer to his shoulder, that made it easier on the doctors when he got to weak and he had just had a treatment the day before, so he really felt like death tonight.
He walked into the bathroom and grabbed the razor to shave what part of his hair that was trying to come in. Most of his hair had stopped growing, and he wasn't going to talk around with a couple spots here and there. He then dropped to his knees and vomited up the bit of water he managed to drink.Hermione, hung up the phone. Ron seen she looked relieved and angry at the same time. "Who was that?" Ron asked. "Narcissa. Draco called Bellatrix form a payment at the end of town. He was brought to the hospital, in hypothermia and bloody." Hermione said. "But he is at the hospital, alive right?" Ron said. "Yes...but it's not fully good news. He hasn't woke up since he was brought and he was badly abused Ron. In every way possible." She said softly. "You know as well as I do, Harry isn't going to think bad about him. The only thing that kept Harry fighting was that baby. You and I both know that." Ron said. "I'll get the baby ready. Get Harry." Hermione said.
Draco slowly woke up a few hours later. Once his body temperature got back to normal. He was covered in bandages to hide the burns and fresh cuts. The heating blanket tuck around him, most of him. Harry pulled out his hand, he didn't care what the doctors said. Not once Draco's temperature was back to normal. Harry felt like death, hardly able to keep sitting up. He needed to sleep, but he couldn't. Harry had blamed himself for what happened to Draco. He should have just ate the shitty hospital food. By the time Draco woke up, Harry had lost the fight and fell asleep. His head laying on Draco's lap, but a tight hold he kept of Draco's hand.
Draco's body ached and God, he just wanted a hot shower and to maybe stay in there forever. Harry didn't wake up when Draco slipped out form under him. Draco slowly walked to the bathroom after removing all those stupid plugs from him.
It cause a nurse to hurry into the room. She let out a sigh of relief before she knocked on the bathroom door. "Draco dear, can I come in?" She said, but Draco didn't respond. He turned the shower on and climbed in the shower. He slowly sat down, hugged his knees, buried his head on his knees and just started to cry.
He wouldn't respond to the nurse, so she turned to Harry. She give him a pain killer and something to help his stomach through his port. It made his body a little stronger, so he woke up soon to her light shake of his shoulders. "The doctor said it's fine, but maybe you should talk to him. He's sitting on the shower, I know he's upset. I don't believe it's at you personally." She said softly.Harry opened the bathroom door and eased down to his knees before he eased opened the shower door. "Hey, come lay back down...they want you to keep under the blanket for a while." Harry said softly, but Draco didn't respond. Harry, after a few minutes, dropped his clothes and climbed into the shower. He fault with Draco, to unfold him until he held Draco's head to his chest and had a strong hold of him with his other arm.
He held Draco, until Draco stoped crying and locked his arms around Harry. "I got you." Harry said softly. Draco worried though. Draco hadn't really lost weight, because he was feed. Harry was really boney and after a few more minutes Draco relaxed, and started to talk, whisper, but talk. "You're...boney." Draco whispered. "Yeah. I have trouble keeping food down since I started treatment, but I'll be fine. It's why I have this." Harry said softly, picking up Draco's hand and moving it to his port. "If it ever because to much, the doctors can make me better. I'll be fine. It's working." Harry said.
