Something Suspicious

"These are piece offerings." Stefan says wrapping a beautiful antique necklace around Elena's neck first, then soon Stefan grabs a beautiful bracelet with a beautiful design in the middle and wrapped it around my wrist.

"What's this for?" I asked confused.

"A-A gift for helping me out on the first day." Stefan hesitates

"Elena can you come with me downstairs I need to tell you something." Stefan says pulling Elena downstairs leaving me stranded in his room.

I flip through random pages of books before a picture of a girl that looked exactly like us fell out, the picture is so old.

"Katherine Pierce, 1864." I mumble to myself.

As I moved on to Stefan's "Diary" journal I flick through some pages.

"Dear Diary, I met this girl named Elena Gilbert, her twin Zoe is as beautiful as her, well they're actually doppelgänger twin sisters looking exactly like Katherine. I promised Zach that I'd live a normal life, getting away from blood and preventing myself to becoming a ripper again."

"Ahem." Damon's voice speaks.

"Oh sorry I was just-"

"Snooping around." Damon cut in.

"Look Damon, I'm sorry on being so hard on you, I know you owe me something, all I want is a do over?" I say shaking off the thought of that diary entry.

"Yeah do over, but I can see you slipping that in your bag." He says pointing at the picture I was putting in my bag.

"Way to start over huh?" I say giggling, hope he doesn't mind me just stealing something from his brother.

"You remind me of someone." Damon claims as he comes closer to me.

"Yeah my twin sister, Elena." I say rolling my eyes (Imagine Zoe speaking exactly like Katherine).

"No, someone that's bitchy."

"Oh wow thanks." I say sounding offended.

"No I didn't mean it that way." He says shaking his head.

His face gets closer to mine, do I really want to kiss this guy?

"I need to find Stefan and Elena." I say preventing him from getting any closer.

Was he going to kiss me?

My mind fills with all these thoughts, I hope he can't read my mind.

Damon's POV

Was I going to kiss her, because she looks like Katherine?

Her voice sounding so much like Katherine.

I could tell, she wasn't a impulsive little bitch, this may be my chance to forget Katherine.

"Really by finding her doppelgänger?" My mind speaks.

I come closer to Zoe's face, just wanting to touch her lips with mine.

"I need to find Stefan and Elena." Zoe claims dodging my kiss and running off, was she scared of me?

Is she still mad about me leaving her?

I can't tell her, I can't. She can't know I'm a vampire, as vampires I bite and kill people.

'Was he going to kiss me?'

'He's so irresistible.'

Being a vampire gives me the power on reading others mind, right now Zoe's minds set on me making me smirk, she's so adorable.

Zoe's POV

I walk in on Stefan and Elena making out, it's good that Elena's moving on from matt, her ex.

Why is it always Elena?

Why is it always her.

I get it now, she's nice and I'm bitchy, I'll just stay like this anyway, a loner.

I didn't want them to hear me walk out so I just tip toe my way out the door and headed to my car.

"Come on." I mumble after I accidentally drop the keys.

As I pick the car keys someone grabs me, dragging me away.

"Damon help!" Those were my last words spoken.

Damon's POV

"Damon help!" Zoe screams.

Using my vampire powers I speed as fast as a speeding car towards where Zoe had spoken.

All I saw where keys smashed against the floor, her bag spilling out everything except the picture of Katherine and her car locked.

"Stefan." I shout.

Stefan runs out with Elena behind him, Elena looking almost terrified like she knew something.

"What?" Stefan says rolling his eyes.

"Slight problem," I say grabbing the keys that were laid on the floor.

"Zoe's gone."
