I've changed

Spending a whole day feeding and feeding on people is just pure beauty, I sure made an art piece at the end of every slaughter.

My life now is so much fun, less wrinkles to worry about, am I right?

Right now I am digging my fangs in someones neck, the blood making me want more.

"Thank you." I say sweetly before pushing this useless, plus dead, human with the tip of my finger, the body falling back onto the cold hard concrete.

Damon's POV

"It's all my fault!" I scream, throwing various of objects at walls.

If I hadn't of made out with Elena, then all of this wouldn't have happened.

40 kills in just two days, I surely made her a wreck. I really have messed up, I hate every single thing about me.

I blame myself for even letting Elena into my life, I blame myself for even falling for Elena again when I clearly love Zoe, I pretty much blame myself for everything.

"Damon?" Elena's fragile voice speaks, her hand slipping onto my shoulder as she rubs it ever so slightly.

"I have to find her, lock her up and get her humanity switch flicked back on." I quickly scramble up a little plan.

"Look, Kai is the main reason we should be having problems." Turning around forcefully to what she had said, how can she not care about her twin sister.

"No, Elena, how can you not care? You're sister is out there killing many people, soon the only people in this town would be us. I'm going out to find her," before I could walk out the door I turn around to see Elena's hurt face "and what kind of sister would give up on her so easily?" Her lips tremble as a tear slowly slips out of her eye.

"I just wanted you to myself." Elena whispers, loud enough for me to hear, before I walked out.

And I thought Zoe had the Katherine genes.

"ZOE!" I scream out, the icy cold weather hitting my body, wishing I could've worn a better jacket.

The sound of a dead body hitting the ground caught my attention, my head turning every direction.

"Well hello, Damon." Zoe's voice speaks behind me, turning around instantly at the sound of her.

"Zoe," I step forward, Zoe stepping back "I'm sorry, I don't know what got into me, I love you."

For a second I could see a glimpse of caring in her eyes, but instead she growls it off.

Zoe's POV

Is he trying to flip my switch?

He doesn't love me, it's always Elena, never me.

I growl at actually caring for once.

"It's always Elena, you love Elena, Stefan does, every boy does. No one cares for me." I hiss.

"I don't want to hurt you, just come with me." Damon holds his hand out.

Like I would take it, there's nothing else to change me, I'm better this way.

"Watching you and Elena do that, telling her that you don't love her anymore, I'd rather not take your hand." I say with disgust.

Kai's POV

I watch as Damon and Zoe fight, she's so beautiful. Why would Damon and Stefan choose Elena over Zoe.

You can say it's love at first sight, ever since I was stuck in that prison world, I thought I'd never love someone.

It's time to crash this party of two.

Flicking my hand, Damon flying backwards, hitting a tall thick tree, Zoe lets out a smirk.

Sending out my magic, Zoe comes crashing down in pain, making her hold both sides of her head.

"Kai! Stop!" She screams out in discomfort.

"Phasmatos Somnus." Knocking her out in seconds, Damon running up to us in pain.

Little cloaking spell can do the trick, right?

Stefan's POV

Damon and Elena, found in a bedroom together, naked. Equals a careless Zoe.

Even I would say that Damon chose wrong for picking Elena, he had told me that he loves Zoe, but guess that's a lie.

"I lost her." Damon breathes out as he slams the front door, possibly even breaking it at the force he had put on it.

"What?" Elena says concerned, but earlier she sounded more like Katherine, wanting Damon all to herself.

Perks of being a vampire, hearing is heightened

"Like you even care." Damon hisses.

"I'm really sorry." Elena's hand runs through her straight hair in sign for stress and worry.

"Elena you sounded pretty selfish for wanting someone to yourself." I say on behalf of Damon.

"Hello people." Caroline speaks as she barges into the house with the others.

Of course Elena, shows innocency by smiling sweetly.

"Where's Zoe?" Jeremy asks concerned.

"With Kai." Damon simply answers, looking over to Elena in disgust.

"What? Why?" Alaric asks.

"Well tragic story, Damon and Elena kiss and make up while Zoe flips her humanity switch leaving Kai to just take her and put a cloaking spell on the both of them." Damon and I look over to Elena, her head bobbing down with guiltiness.

"Why does seem like you've not told us the rest." Bonnie says tilting her had to the side in confusion.

"That's because Elena is selfish just like Katherine would be," Damon turns to the rest before speaking again "she never cared for Zoe, she never wanted to have her humanity back, and that's because Elena wants me all to herself."

Everyone glared at Elena in disappointment.

Zoe's POV

I keep my eyes closed as I hear Kai rambling to himself.

"I love this girl. She's the first girl I ever loved," he pauses for a second and sighs heavily "but I can't care."

Maybe turning off my humanity was pretty bad, but I just can't turn it back on.

I don't want to feel the pain, the pain that the two people I used to love brought.

I'm better this way.
