Chapter 5

The next morning I went home to find my mom sitting on the couch looking worried.

"Oh my god Scarlett where were you? , I was so worried", she said.

"Mom why didn't you ever tell me I was half wolf", I said restraining my urge to yell.

She looked really shocked ,"How did you find out?" she asked.

So I told mom about everything that happened in the last 24 hours. She looked shocked as well as scared then she said, "If you want a full explanation then listen to me."

I nodded.

She then faced me and broke into a speech, " All your father's ancestors had magic and each and everyone of them could transform into one animal they were the only family who could transform, the last time a trix saw them was over a hundred years ago " .

I was too stunned to speak but even though , "What's a trix? ", I asked.

"Non magic people, anyway the girl who was seen was a half hawk and was captured by trix's ever since then the magic type was careful not to reveal it but some hunters know too much. When Jackson your brother was born your father was so happy that he didn't have magic but when you were born and he found out you have magic he left because he wanted to live a normal life", mom said.

So my father left because I was like him, it doesn't make sense why me of all people.

I went up to my room and sat down on my bed processing everything mom told when I got a call from and unknown number.

"Come to the alley next to your school, don't ask question just do it then you'll know why", the caller said and hung up.

I ran out my room and down the stairs as fast as I could . I ran all the way to the alley. And there were people , five people I know.
