We arrived safely in front of the alley way. It was bright and sunny, the complete opposite of the weather on the day we were leaving.
We climbed down the stairs and as soon as we opened the door there was an outburst of of cheers and a song started playing.

Later that night
I returned home around 11pm . I opened the door slowly thinking that everyone was asleep. But mom and Jackson were sitting on the living room couch. They both turned around when they saw me. Mom ran towards me and squeezed me in a tight hug.
"Oh Scarlett I was so worried", she said.
"I'm ok mom", I said smiling.
Jackson came towards me to hug me too but I backed away.
"Bro even though you've changed , I haven't ", I said and ran from the room laughing.
A year later
I ran past the school , knowing that if I walk my friends will definitely spot me and won't let me skip today. I ran to the alley way and saw Nigel there. I ruffled his hair and ran out again with him chasing me.
After we destroyed Veronica everything has been normal except we still continued out magic practices and there has been a few encounters with Magic Hunters but other than that everything was normal. I hope that there will never be anymore dark queens or anything like that.
Nigel caught up with me by the time we reached the park and he tackled me to the ground. We saw many people staring at us since we both looked like maniacs. We laughed and stood up and walked away. Life's amazing and I hope it'll be this way forever.
