The next day the four of us went down to the alley way. Parker , Harvey , Nigel and Oliver was already there.
"Is it just me or does this place look hella creepy today ", Harvey said.
"Yeah it's creepy ", a voice said from behind us and we screamed .
A boy stepped out of the shadows . He looked about 18 and he looked hella hot,"Gave y'all quite a fright didn't I ", he said chuckling.
Then he held out his hand towards me, "You must be Scarlett everyone of our kind knows you and your family. Oh my name's Ryan."
I smiled and shook his hand .
"Well I'll be teaching y'all the basics today so come on let's go", he signaled us down. We walked down the stairs and into their world or can we call it our world since we belong there too.
He took us into a room , this one bigger than the room we went to yesterday.
"So the most basic is summoning fire ", he said.
"Summoning fire is the most basic ? , then I can imagine the others", Nigel said.
Ryan ignored it and said, "So to summon fire you think of fire a raging one ", he said and his hand lit up and he had a flaming fire dancing on his palm and he looked so calm.
"Doesn't your hand burn ? ", Harvey asked.
"No but throw the fire at something else it burns , for example ", he said and the fire on his hand zoomed through the air and landed on a chair setting it on fire.
I was going to tell him to put it out before something else caught fire but he snapped his fingers and the fire died down. We all looked at him amazed .
"Now since it's your first time I can't have you'll burning down this place so just keep the fire on your palms and don't worry it won't burn you ", he said looking at Sophie and Diana.
So we tried. I imagined a strong fire while holding out my hand , I felt my hand getting warm and when I looked at my hand it was on fire and like Ryan said it didn't hurt.
It turns out I was the first to summon it. Ryan smiled at me and said, " Well done Scarlett , now you'll try hard too. ".
Summer managed to summon fire too so the two of us sat in a corner and watched the others try. Parker summoned a fire and he was so happy that he yelled . I saw Diana giggling and me and Summer shared a look.
"Hey hey calm down you'll burn this place ", Ryan said but I could see he was happy that three of us managed to do it.
After about an hour all of us learned to summon fire and lighting. We were exhausted once we finished .
"I never want to do this a again", Oliver said as we climbed the stairs.
"We got months of practice though", I said.
We finally stepped out and sat down on the ground leaning against the wall
"Can't we skip it tomorrow? , I've basketball practice".
"Unless you want to be burned alive I suggest you come". I said.
Why isn't anyone else saying anything?
I looked around to see everyone else asleep .
"Are we gonna leave'em like this? " , Oliver asked.
"Are you nuts no you idiot, come on wake them up".
So we shook them awake and then we went home. If our first practice was this hard then I'm scared to think about the others.
