Dear heavens! How could I possibly repeat such folly upon her?! This marks the third occasion, Silvia Esperanza!

The blonde woman with silver eyes cursed at herself while holding an empty bucket. In front of her, a short black-haired lady was sitting on the ground in a wet black suit with a hat covering a pair of little horns. The awkwardness engulfed the silent moon-lighted forest while they're in a position where they couldn't escape. Silvia, who would inherit the head of Esperanza's family from her father, apologized while bowing to her family's common nemesis.

"I beg your pardon for thoroughly saturating you with water; it was never my intention to render you akin to a bat caught in a tempest."

"Silvia," The green emerald eyes glared at the silver eyes, "might you elucidate the utterance you have just conveyed?"

"Disregard the final remark I conveyed to you."

"Tsk!" Margaret clicked her tongue while standing up with her pale hand combing her short black hairs, drying it from the annoying water.

The silver eyes cursed when their owner's cheeks turned red. Ever since they met in the party, the other lady seemed to invade her mind. Her short hairs that like obsidian turned into a bundle of soft cotton threads, eyes that looked high-priced jewelleries, and how she resembled a luxury art with the moon light behind her. Oh, how she -

"Lady Silver Queen, dost thou lend thine ear to my words?"

"Ah, I must beg your pardon once more." She snapped out from her daze then smiled wryly, "Pray, do proceed with your previous discourse."

The short black-haired vampire stunned after seeing how cocky smile was too good on the bun blonde-haired huntress' face, but it's still couldn't stop her being mad at the one who made her clothes wet in the coldness of the night. "I am keenly aware that we are adversaries," The green emerald-eyed lady then groaned with a grumpy face, "Why dost thou persist in dousing me with such substance, dear Miss Esperanza?!"

"I am quite at a loss! It is rather your transgression as well, dear Margaret. Engaging in covert antics behind my back!" Silvia snapped, "Isn't that rather inequitable?!"

"Might thee be inclined to extend thy apologies to me?" the owner of emerald eyes grunted, "I possess no desire to engage in dispute with thee in this present moment."

"Pardon? I have already attended to that matter." The silver eyes blinked, "what was the reasoning behind your utterance? Is it not true that you harbor a disdain for me?"

"Nay, verily, I desire nothing more than to wed thee at this very instant - " She stopped her sentence but it's way too late. There's no way she could take it back.

Everything was peaceful until the heiress of Esperanza slipped up.

"What you intended... was to court me initially, I presume?"

Both of them became completely quiet while silently screaming in their minds.

Margaret blushed and facepalmed herself, "Allow it... to be forgotten."

She stood up and walked away from there. Suddenly, she felt her arm was grabbed by someone behind her.

"Hold for a moment!"

With a sigh, the green emerald-eyed vampire stopped and faced the huntress with silver eyes. "Pray tell, esteemed Silver Queen, dost thou possess a discourse to impart?" she asked gently while staring the lady in blue classic one-piece dress.

It made Silvia's heart skip a beat, she calmed herself down and back to their staring showdown. Unfortunately, the bright red still was on her cheeks and Margaret saw that.
